Oh yeah, put something facelike in the jar, a bellpepper with a :scream: cut-out or so. Similar to this:

Result of the full bucket of hazelnuts I picked with my neighbor a while back

Just over 300 grams total, roasted for about 8 mins at 180°C (repositioned/turned halfway through). The image below shows the result, or actually half the amount, as I shared with my neighbour who helped pick them. Added dried herbs and spices. These are absolutely delicious!

Also the end result after fermenting for about 6 days. Can clearly see how cloudy it has become. Now keeping them cool in the fridge, which stops further fermentation. They are very tasty now and have a good bite, a bit of a snap, not too soft. They turned out yummy alright, certainly going to make these again! :face_savoring_food:

I’m fairly certain I just destroyed an entire colony of those in Outer Worlds 2.

I bet it is tasty though.

Having just been introduced to “no boil” lasagna noodles, as a public service I am here to say…NO. Just no.

Taste and texture they are fine, but their claim to fame is ease of use…and that’s a flat out lie. Sure, save me the massive trauma of having to break out a pot and boil water…in return I will wrestle these badly sized, totally inflexible sheets into place so that as they cook they can form a sticky joint and weld themselves into an impenetrable sheet.

Of course the sticking together part is all my fault, I was supposed to ensure that every place they overlap was well juiced with sauce and cheese to keep them apart. Because that’s part of “the easy way.”

This is the first I have heard of these. Likely because I have not made lasagna in ages. Now I want to experience this for myself…I’m a glutton for punishment.

Banketstaaf (Dutch)

Almond Roll (almond paste filled pastry). Pretty much another typically Dutch bake, especially when shaped an S for the Sinterklaas festivities. I kept it simple and have a few more in the freezer to (hopefully) have some for Christmas too.

It sounds like this because its impossible to say its true name before stuffing a pile into your mouth. Its genuine name has been lost to history as a result.

Or impossible to say while your mouth is stuffed with a slice while washing it down with ice cold milk.
