Seems the new teleporter object is a one off. Or the one I ummm added for the betterment of science to my inventory disappeared after usage.

Some exciting stuff on the Atlantid Front! There’s a bunch of new missions related to purple systems, the Autophage and the Nexus Construct. Seems to be a rewrite + expansion of In Stellar Multitudes? Couldn’t get the missions themselves to start, but I did manage to piece together the general mission flow using the debug text + surrounding structs:

So cool. I have noticed for a while now, in the Quick Menu there are 2 icons for calling in your freighter, as if I owned 2 of them.

It appears HG are very keen to get returning / new players to engage with the autophage.

Reading between the lines, this suggests to me thet HG feel people who haven’t played for a while will find it too difficult and/or time consuming to complete the whole quest line - but full engagement with the autophage is going to be necessary for the grand finale. So they’re leading us by the nose into autophage invovement.

I think that’s for when you have friends over for tea that didn’t carpool with you.

I haven’t looked into it but perhaps two visible corvettes in a system/session might be the limit ?

Abandoned space stations also only have two platforms for corvettes outside of them.

I have yet to visit a colossal archive but I’m on the lookout, if anywhere has new landing spots for corvettes it’s gotta be that place.

Edit:

This may or may not be related to whatever tinkering is going on with freighters behind the scenes but I noticed any freighter sections I left at the default colour are all this new colour that isn’t selectable from the current menu.

I really like it, I didn’t notice until I went to add a door and couldn’t find the colour that matched.

This thing is VAST. It’s hard to get far enough away to take a picture.

Appears to be two lage pads, and three smaller ones.

Figured this might be a question for the dataminers.

Do the corvettes count towards the 16,000 part base limit or are they separate? Ultimately you can only have 12 so 1,200 parts isn’t that big of a dent in the parts cap but I keep a track of how close I am to the limit via notepad with save editor so wondering if I should also count these in my tally.

There appears to be a total part limit of 21,000, which includes Corvettes. However, you need to be below 20,830 parts to be able to create a new Corvette, or it would not allow you to place anything for construction. No message is given either.

This was not datamined, but verified through testing in-game on PC (Steam)

To add, Corvettes do not count towards the total limit of bases you can have.

You can still have:

  • 400 Base Computers (activated)
  • 1 Freighter base
  • 12 Corvettes, as they can not be stored/archived and ShipOwnership only allows 12 total
