Thats what I was thinking. It might just be a new cosmetic item with no significant meaning other than a fun event item, similar to the xbox helmet. Thats my best guess. However, I love speculation sooooo…
More tweeks to turrets and difficulty of enemies seems like they are giving a bit more attention to combat elements. Derelict freighters with aliens that “evolved”, more agressive A.I., and a very detailed alien head purchased with a new form of black market currency? Perhaps the next step in the alien evolution is becoming traveller-like? Perhaps Ariadne or Hesperus is one of these aliens that now look like travellers?
We need more weekend events.

Someone suggested that Sean’s Picard tweets might be alluding to freighters and/or frigates having full crews. That would be cool.

Chairs?? I have to land on one of mine again. I’ve never seen any sign of a cockpit when I made repairs. I’ll have to poke around a lot more.

I believe only one has chairs…can’t remember but I believe it is a science frigate…I will check.

when i first seen the product listing for cafe42 i thought it was a new addition to space station, but it’s a community group. So just plants and banners, was hoping for a few buildable things…maybe next time.

So it looks like more things relating to “Pets” was found in the experimental build. An icon to summon a pet. I guess this feature really is coming. Perhaps on the next update? With pets, it will likely mean that creature A.I. will be getting an upgrade. As for NPC A.I., that could be possible too.

It does. That’s what I was thinking. Some are saying that its game assets for a new in-game merchant for pets but… I cant see how most of it fits with the art style of any of the other merchants. There’s too much detail on the assets so it looks more like larger base building parts or a space structure such as a space station.
