Update: Crossplay Patch 2.52.1
(PC only)
Patch Notes
- We’ve fixed a number of issues specific to AMD GPUs. We are aware of other GPU specific crashes and are working with AMD to fix them on a driver level. In the meantime, they have recommended rolling back to the previous WHQL driver 20.4.2, which can be found here: link.
- We are also aware of a number of Windows 7 users who are unable to connect. This is a platform security issue, and requires an update to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows, found here: link
- Fixed a rare networking crash related to base building.
- Fixed a crash related to broken ships.

GOG update - v2.52.1_Crossplay_60872 is available today.
Edit: corrected version I transposed the numbers. Sorry.
And if I got this correctly, there is also a GOG update - v.2.53_Crossplay_60867
Just odd how it has a lower version number, but it sort of matches the weirdness that happened on Steam as well. The latest update was a rollback to an older build that had not been released before.
There is not a version v2.53 yet on GoG. The release list is below.
The stand alone installer is 2.52_Crossplay_60829 according to GoG
Hmmm, that’s odd, the gogdb tells otherwise:
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1446213994#builds
The DB and what is showing in the GoG Galaxy app appears to support your comment about a rollback. I installed the update this morning so the screenshots are the current info in the app.

Yay! The Nexus felt so lonely here the last couple weeks.
Still no weekend event on my Xbox and no connection to discovery services.
