âBut can you talk to ships in space on those?â -Tim Allen Galaxy Quest
@spaz: I added a category to your topic to make it easier to find.
I gues this ship was talking to me lol
I received it as a kind of reward after finishing the Artemis quest in Permadeath.
The moment I called my freighter, after stranding in Eissentam, and flew into it, the ship flew straight in behind me and I could buy it very cheapâŚ
It had a sigma warp reactor already built in.
Your reply just reminded me of that scene from Galaxy Quest when Tim Allen said be could prove he has been to space and pulled out his pocket communicator, and all the other actors pulled out their prop ones.
Havenât seen that movie but it was a very comic one so I suppose you had a good laugh lol
In reply to the OPâŚ
Iâve got 2 of the âtall-wingâ style orb exotic ships, similar in style and colour to the concept drawing you posted. There is also a white & gold âflip-wingâ out there somewhere as can be seen in this thread. S Class Megathread - #32 by Virakotxa. Iâm yet to see one of the tall, lower wing equipped ones with the floral style embellishments like the one on your concept drawing. So far these 2 are the closest I have found to the WT/Atlas Rises teaser images.
@Mad-Hatter Has anybody seen an exotic ship that has the same gold markings on the cockpit and wing? The ones you found look like they were made off of the same color palette. It doesnât look like anyoneâs found a ship with the âwavesâ pattern on the wing/cockpit.
Some of my screen shots of a couple of S-Class ships. I shall have to look more closely now at the S-Class as I wasnât aware designs were so varied.
I think there are only 2 gold (or platinum) embellishment styles available.
My post up above with the 2 tall white ships shows the 2 sorts side by side.
Iâm of the opinion that the picture the OP supplied is concept art and isnât an actual representation of an actual ship available in game. I think they altered it because of the odd looking droopy nose; the final result is more balanced and elegant.
Okay, that makes sense.
