Not sure where to post this as the ARG and Alice & Smith threads seem to be archived.
Interesting blog post from soon to be ex CEO and cofounder of Alice & Smith.
Includes some references to NMS and waking titan

This was a wonderful read, thanks for sharing it
I guess it could technically fit under NMS Insight thread but this is fine ![]()
Here is some more on the same subject, from Anashel’s announcement on Discord.
I am sure many of us will recognise several images.
@kliktrak If unsure, you can always consider creating a new topic. I’ll move the discussion to a new topic, as I can imagine it possibly leading to further discussion.
Cool, now Anashel has free time to get addicted to NMS and return to being an active forum user ![]()
I wish them all the best on the next step in their career <3
I loved the ARGs. Though me no crypto nerd so me left decode work to them nerds.
I don’t know if this has any relevance to current events here. Even if it doesn’t, it’s interesting.
The founders of Alice and Smith were Andrea Doyon and Nathalie Lacoste. Andrea Doyon is Anashel, Puppetmaster of Waking Titan.
The COVID crisis hit Alice and Smith hard. Whilst the company still exists, it seems they no longer make ARGs. Their website is still up, but it hasn’t been updated for a long time, and apparently no longer reflects the nature of the company.
Both Andrea Doyon and Nathalie Lacoste left Alice and Smith in 2025 to pursue other ventures. And that’s where it gets interesting.
Andrea Doyon and Nathalie Lacoste appear to have set up a new venture, “Life & Logic”, in which they seem to be exploring the possibilities of AI - particularly enabling AI to understand and respond to emotion.
One of the avenues they are pursuing in this venture is training and using an AI as Puppetmaster in an ARG.
Have a look here (it takes a while for the page to load)
For a little background, see here:
Semi-autonomous comes to mind…
Something is off here. It reads… oddly. That first article specifically. Can’t put my finger on it.
The contact page lists them as: “Our AI Architects” ![]()
If you go ‘Into the flow’, you can experiment with their AI model that lists ‘AI Jobs’ and companies. But nothing is loading.
Very intriguing.
I read my post first and thought “damn, was I that much of an asshole back then?!”
Then I saw the context for it ![]()
Turns out I’ve always just been an incredibly dry piss-taker.
