The flamethrower (Incinerator) is present in the game code, but not officially available yet to purchase as technology. Because it is present in the code, it has already become available on multi-tools you can find. I guess HG did not foresee this happening.

Is the secondary MT broken? I can’t seem to find mine and I cannot purchase another. When trying to equip my second one, I get a list of options for my primary MT like Plasma Launcher, Personal Forcefield…

in normal PC [not experimental] - I had 2 MTs - was checking the 2nd one out today to get different weapon/config to use for derelict freighters but didnt like the class C, so went looking and found a new class A [ie total of 3 MTs], and kitted it without any issues.

dummy me. I have been using the same MT and flying the same Living Ship for so long, I had forgotten how to access my other MTs, (I have 3) and I had forgotten how to maintain a regular ship, lol. :crazy_face:

Well, I am having all kinds of issues in 3xperimental right now. I will post it all here since this may not affect normal players. The issues all seem to involve underwater things…which makes me wonder…
First, the Abyssal monsters seem to just vanish in a puff when I engage them.
Second, I cannot recharge my underwater tech via the quick menu. They do not appear in the quick menu.
Also, I have been having a glitch with the Remembrance rooms. The one where you see the Atlas count down from 16 minutes until its end. Then suddenly, one of them worked today. Before that, when I ran the diagnostic, it simply ended…that was that.
I also had a strange feeling when one did work for me today. I am wondering if what the Atlas sees in its own end is the end of NMS development…
and lastly, for now anyway, I was in a MP mission and when I left the Anomaly, he was in my team and then he wasn’t.(He did not leave, just booted him out) I finished my mission and when I went to re enter the anomaly, my game froze…

One more glitch, when I finished all of my missions and left the Anomaly, it placed me in Euclid instead of back in Severates. Thankfully, the teleporter fixed that but I had a panic attack for a minute, lol.

After the last experimental update, when I blast a Humming Egg, it just vanishes. No animation and no ā€œloot.ā€ (I’m nearly always in Creative mode now for exploring and photos). I’ve submitted a bug report.

Uhm… Are you supposed to blast them? I thought you had to pick them with ā€œEā€? (Humming eggs are the ones containing pearls, right?)

Experimental Branch Update 20/07

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Anomaly Detector to never find an anomaly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused player freighters to change colour. Freighters have been restored to their correct colours.
  • Fixed a crash related to derelict freighter atmospheric effects.
  • Fixed an issue that overly inflated the complexity value of a range of base parts, causing bases to be culled incorrectly.

For other objects that you should gather via ā€œE,ā€ trying to mine or blast has no effect. So, …
:slight_smile: why is this different. I don’t recall this behavior prior to Desolation.

Ah, you mean they’re destructible now? Yeah, that would be new. Unless you’re using the terrain manipulator, in which case I think it’s normal?

The recharge water tech problem has been an ongoing intermittent problem for a few releases.

Experimental Branch Update 21/07

  • Fixed an issue that was doubling the power of various fleet upgrade modules that could be installed in player freighters.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to destroy a derelict freighter they were currently aboard.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a soft lock when declining a group invite.
