Flies just fine with only one engine.
I think Iâll try to build the ugliest, most mis-matched heap of scrap I can manage.
Thatâs what happens when you have been a misanthropic drunken loner for too long.
âNo one will ever want to board this ugly heap of scrapâ
Thank you for the heads up, Todd!
One follow up question while I am stuck at work: have freighters been overhauled as well for landing these?
This also means its safe to assume our settlements will be wanting us to build new landing pads too.
Well they called it Skyborn so itâs definitely a direct nod.
Maybe thatâs what the Hand emoji was for? Sean was waving at Todd Howard this whole time trying to get his attention.
I see some issues
I highly recommend you teleport to the system and land on the Space Station, then fly down to your settlements and land on the ground. I got hung up on the ship that landed under me.
Can I just say how cool it is to walk off your ship and onto the planet.
Has anyone experienced an issue with the corvette bartering system? Maybe I am using it wrong or missing a trick?
When I first saw my inventory showing I had zero trade goods for the piece I wanted (a hull connector) I figured maybe you can only trade like for like.
So I bought a new cockpit to test out bartering but even when trying to barter for a cockpit, the bartering menu shows I have no items to barter with.
Perhaps we can only barter for pieces we find in the wild, and not ones we have purchased ourselves?
Is it like the skeleton bartering where you need multiple items to trade for one
New Voyagers Blog Post (included in top post as well)
Choose the item you want then click on the scales to the right and your parts should show up in a window. You can then add them to the 3 slots.
There is a lot going on with the screen in the background. I looked to the left at first.
Thats the issue, no parts show up in the transfer items window of the module exchange, even though I bought several of the basic pieces.
I have yet to finalise and build a Corvette so maybe it wantâs me to go through that first
Maybe but I have also been on the planet digging up salvage parts so I have a lot of stuff. Maybe it wonât exchange for the parts you can buy?
New Skyborn backpack. I like my little robotic form so not likely to use the other new pieces.
This seems the most likely case so I finally built my Corvette.
PSA if you are building a second story, you need to add the stairs after finalisation to get up there once you go inside the corvette.
In fact, there are some new build items for the interior of corvettes as well as some variants on some old classics you can access once you board.
I hit a weird snag while in build mode for the Corvette. It uses Y on my controller instead up Dpad like regular build mode and I somehow ended up in photo mode while building and lost all button capability. Had to force close the game. So be careful with your buttons
Feeling cozy
Iâm really curious about those salvage parts found on planetsâ are they a random chance from regular olâ buried tech module dig sites, or do they have a specific name/icon of their own? Havenât managed to find any just yetâŚ
Look for the planets with Salvageable Scrap. The yellow icons on the planets. Not the white ones. These are the long tube-like things with a round piece between them. I thought I got a picâŚ.
Aha, thank you!
