My first 60fps timelapse! (modded)

I hope giant assets like big plutonium and big wavy colorful plants can be added in the future in the normal game. It seems so easy… but what do I know. o.0

The following had crossed my mind and has been discussed internally before making it ‘final’.

  • Split, each category, both NMS and WT, having such a content topic?
    Complicated as both are often closely related, likely still resulting in duplicate posts at times.
    Each can be pinned, although that would feel like giving it special treatment within their respective category.
  • Kept together, combined content, fitting both categories.
    No combined category exists!
    • Does it deserve to be a category on its own?
      Other topics likely deserve similar treatment.
      Requires admin to add this category.
    • Off Topic. ‘Topics that don’t need a category’.
      Recoverability:
      • Topic is regularly posted in, therefore usually shows on main page overview.
      • Can be pinned at top of category to help users find it.
        Considering it stands out within this category, it feels less like giving it special treatment.
    • Choose between NMS or WT category.
      Forced to make a choice, due to combined content, feels awkward.
      • NMS as a choice.
        Recoverability:
        • pinned locked topic in WT with redirect.
        • Assuming users will find it if WT related instead.
      • WT as a choice.
        Recoverability:
        • pinned locked topic in NMS with redirect.
        • Assuming users will find it if NMS related instead

I hope the above makes sense as to why we chose for this solution. It is not always easy to find the ‘best’ solution, due to the forum’s initial setup, avoiding a full overhaul, and some limitations, requiring changes being made by an admin. We are of course open to suggestions to improve on the over-all forum experience. For now I personally see no reason to make the suggested change, but feel free to further discuss an alternative solution and we are more than willing to look into it.

Informational Video listing EVERY Hello Games GDC presentation thus far (& more!)

Hi everyone on the official forum! I’ve been working on this video that tells you all every presentation (2010-2017) Hello Games has had at the Game Developers Conference and also why I am looking forward to their 2018 speech. Innes McKendrick had a very good presentation last year along with the rest of Hello Games. I also like how they dropped the Pathfinder update right around the time of GDC 2017 so hopefully they will have another lol

I hope you guys enjoy this video as I tried really hard to bring the community something to look forward to that is officially from Hello Games and No Man’s Sky related! Thanks for reading :slight_smile:
