Updates & Patches

Lots of lil optimisations lately, with Martin acknowledging this. Probably just well needed cleanup, but a small part of me wonders if it’s some early overhead work for something else they might have cooking up that’s fairly demanding?

We can be reasonably sure nothing exciting is going to happen before mid January.

Yes, I’ve been on alert for something ever since the last expedition redux ended.

Yeah… Me too. Haven’t been on NMS for a bit while busy elsewhere, however my spidey senses began to note the time span between updates must be getting near.

A new month begins & my update senses are tingling. Are we due for an update? I’ve never paid close attention to the update dates… but it ‘feels’ kind of right.

SM has gone underground I think

Sometimes it’s Jan, sometimes it’s Feb, sometimes it can be March.

What is odd is there’s been no major fixes with a patch yet. Cloud reflections are still missing and breaking my lil heart.

Fix the clouds Sean! (I never thought I’d say that with sincerity, I also think that’s more Martins area of expertise).

Where is this guy when we finally need him?!

I’m sure whatever the next update is they’re hard at work on it as usual, or maybe it’s all hands on deck for LNF while we are all distracted with the Corvette update still.

I’m hoping we get to see that Iron Giant soon.

I’ve been saying the next update might be a POI update for planets and maybe a revamp of the OG POI’s since Worlds pt 1 landed, I’m going to keep saying that because sooner or later I’ll be correct. We did kinda get one with the dig sites.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking the same thing about Lee Harvey Oswald.

Just like She-Who-Was in the Atlas Simulation, it seems data from the Void is bleeding through the boundaries into other places here too
