Anyone know who, if anyone, submitted this through the memory timestamps? Or what it’s pulled from?

memory bloc 1472428800: Backed into a corner
Value: It was then, that I realized how vulnerable I truly was in this vast universe.
As I stepped onto the barren world’s sandy shores, a sense of calm washed over me. I’d travelled a few hundred light-years out from my starting planet, and had recently (barely) survived an encounter with a Sentinel Walker. Seeing a planet devoid of life meant a lonely walk as I explored, but it also meant that I had time to kick back and relax without the fear of being ambushed by a predator and then attacked by a Sentinel for self-defence. I took a quick look at the ocean nearby and decided to take a short swim in the cyan, crystalline waters. I swam around for a while, exploring the shallow ocean floor, until a dreaded red icon popped up out of nowhere. I couldn’t see it immediately, but as soon as I turned around I was met with the gaze of one of the most terrifying underwater predators I’d ever seen. Low on boltcaster ammunition, I tried to swim away in fear of losing hours of progress, but the creature was relentless. As I eventually surfaced onto a patch of land, I was horrified to discover that I’d been marooned on a deserted island with little to no resources, and a very aggressive creature that didn’t stop its pursuit even after I’d found myself ashore. The predator’s odd, glitchy animations near land made it all the more terrifying, as its next steps felt uncertain. As I stared onto the unending horizon, I felt true fear for the first time in the game.

This is what I sent in, formatteed exactly as I sent it. This was an old memory, but it didnt have the title, value or link back when I first sent it in:

So it seems like System wants us to submit all 4 for memory bloc addition for those to anchor
[19:36]That5omb3rBoi [NMS], :
Formatted, as well
Seems like we need to include mem bloc title and values along with our bodies of text with memory timestamp submissions going forward, to help them anchor better.
Here is the link for that page again if people don’t have it handy
password is EMILY
Share your entries and try to submit them to the sheet here if you have time
Archie also needs as many Operators to do this as possible…
Quick note: From my Archie-Assisted test, it seems we need to format it to include Title, Value, Main Bloc, and a relevant link (doesnt have to be for the same date).
Edit: Quick Copypasta template here

I submitted my first, based on a video stream of mine from Aug 20th 2016 that helped me in the future to return to my past.

Title: Sentinels & Signal Boosters - Value: There’s always a way back - Main Bloc: Always an eager Traveller, I was happy to have the technical ability to show my journey off and maybe entice other people like myself to enter this Universe. Because of this, I now also have an incredible archive. I can look back on these early moments, a fresh faced grub clambering up through caves and facing off Sentinels and rooting around Signal Boosters, pulling their wires and using them for guidance. And within their guidance, laid a key for me as a future traveller with greater abilities at my finger tips, to find my way back here whenever I needed to. For within a signal booster, lay a galactic address, and in our futures, lay a Portal. No time to understand them or jot them down though, I’ve angered the sentinels once again so I have to dash. But the video archive, the stream, it remembered for me. I can look back now, reach into that past, and visit it in the now. I only realised recently that I guess I’ve always been a Keeper of the TRACE. https://youtube.com/live/KsfJS4zmob0?feature=share
I added it to my random thread too!
@sheralmyst saw that while typing up my most recent one, thought maybe the weird instagram url did something at first then realised it was 100% intentional on PSS’s end ![]()
Using my old instagram account for posts from 2016 to jog my memory, found this one from work…

Title: Doodle Man’s Sky - Value: A viable launch pad - Body text: Boring days in work go by quickly when thinking about the places I’ve been and the places I’m going. Weather that’s in my living reality, or the virtual one where I fly spaceships and visit planets. A pen and a pad is a good tool to have in any profession, be it for actual work or the doodles that happen when you day dream on a slow and quiet day… https://www.instagram.com/p/BKA6NhxDC1L/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

edit: oh no, typo! Hopefully Archie or System will spell check for me ;0;
I have no memories of 2016. I never used social media prior to WT. I was not doing any art. My life was in a funk. But I did find an old interview that shows just how much stress is involved in making a game.

someone just looked up this font
Zalgo, cursed text or glitch text
I’ll be digging up as many 2016 memories as I can. I’m aiming to submit a big chunk by the end of day today. Plus re-submit a few others that didn’t appear yet.

Title(A New Home). Value: (Building memories in the Age of Foundation) Main Bloc(In the Age of Foundation, I wandered the vast, empty Euclid Galaxy. It was even emptier then. But, that winter, something changed in the simulation. I’ll never forget the memory of my first ‘home’ among the stars. It was a hut with 4 walls and a roof. But I could cozy up there, safe from the endless expanse of the cosmos. It stands firmly in my memory. I never would have guessed then that I would still be exploring the simulation I love so much 10 years later.) Link: ( Foundation Update - No Man's Sky )

Title: A Moon Shaped Pool - Value: Good things come to those who wait - Bloc Text: 5 years felt like a long wait at the time, and at this stage in life I had gotten used to waiting long periods. It used to be that 1-2 years felt like forever to wait for something. It’s been ten years since their last now, and that time felt even shorter than those five years did. Time is a funny thing. The more of it you experience, the less it seems to happen. Yet those 3 months from May to August felt infinite somehow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Moon_Shaped_Pool

Edit: There’s a few more articles w/ dates mentioned here, might be worth more submissions. I gotta return to real_life for now!
Yeah, I have the same on my end; attempted submission for Aug 18 2016 (the Scalzi article, above) was going to submit, but there’s no place for a memory, just the timestamp and the initial value which I gave as “Death is Not the End”…
All these timestamps make me hope Archie has plans to collate and release all of our submitted memory fragments in a mess of sub-memories for any and all timestamps. It would be a nightmare to browse, but I would adore having such a beautiful, colourful monument to our time as MAIN FAM.
The memory submision form only has three fields, top one for username, the timestamp:no/value entry is for the unix timecode of the date you’re submitting to and then the last entry field is where we are putting our memories and including the title, value (a sub heading) and then the body. You cant format in this entry field so everything has to be a single chunk of text with no linebreaks.
Bomberbois email exhange above between him and Archie will explain why we’re doing it this way now whereas before we just included a memory in the third field.
Alternatively, System is accepting them via email for those who find the memory submission form a bit tricky with no formatting allowed and not being able to review your entry properly, as @BenR 's enquiries to Archie yielded.
@Mafi-143 the Memory Timestamp tracker sheet from bomberboi is doing a good job of this. While we can’t preserve all submissions that arent made public for bomberboi to collect or added by the original author manually, it already has over 600 memory timestamp submissions collected. Its immense ![]()
Id love to know the actual number on the PMs end
Very good point! Thank you for the reminder.
