The Exo-Skiff is fun, but this is my favorite way to fish now. :slight_smile:

Not sure when they added hard faces to this structure but I can finally sit and chill with my buddy here

Also not sure if this is rediscovered knowledge for me… It’s been a crazy year for NMS updates.

Expedition 17 Redux

Found a crashed freighter in Permadeath with one half completely covered by terrain. I thought I’d be able to dig a tunnel across the buried portion but its actually all bed rock except for some top layer ;0;

It had just run out of fuel and began to sink into its own wake :smiling_face:

More Permadeath snaps

For the first time in years, I accidentally angered friendlies while defending a freighter from pirates.

It had been so long and I felt it wasn’t my fault so I decided to just embrace what was being thrown at me and proceeded to attack this and two neighbouring freighters in the chance they’d have freighter upgrade modules. They didn’t.

I never did this before and boy did my reputation with the Korvax plummet. Like, waaay down. From highest rep to the third negative one (is it the lowest? I don’t know…)

What’s the best way to “abandon the freighter mission” and get out of a friendly fire situation? Simply leaving is not always possible in a space battle (sometimes, I manage). Alt-F4? :wink:

There’s an emergency warp thingamashing you can craft, I think? Or do you only get that with certain missions?

I generally run for the space station if things get unpleasant. It’s usually very close to a space battle. If you park up there for a few minutes, NPC will generally forget you became an enemy. If they don’t, teleporting out of the system, then coming back, will wipe their memories.

Just flying in a random direction by itself isn’t enough anymore, you need to divert power to engines and then they can’t keep up.

Also yay, now I can post screenshots again (can’t make more than three posts in a row).

Now if you guys could go have little chats over at the voyagers 6.0, glitches/funny pics and music taste threads I’d appreciate it. I’ll try not to spam thricely but no promises :face_with_peeking_eye:

Wait, we can divert power?

Yes I can’t remember when it was added but it’s been this way for two years now maybe?

You can divert power to weapons, shields and engines to add extra oomph to one of em. Not sure what key it is on PC but on console it’s UP on the D-Pad.

Has been very useful in Permadeath, been able to escape those early fights with some ease or turn the tide by putting it all into weapons.
