My current Corvette. I’m focusing on collecting parts at the moment so I’m making do with a rough & ready set up for now.

I’ve never encountered these before. Probably just a ‘me’ thing but I thought I’d share anyway.

Sort of a glowy nervous system in a ghostly body.

Are those salvageable scrap?

Yes. One of the variants.

Another variant. These are fairly common on this planet - the more containers attached, the more loot you get. I’ve had as many as 7 corvette parts from a single dig (rare, but it happens).

I’m on a planet which has many double-up Damaged Technology which is very helpful on that less established save.

I finally revamped my freighter to have an atrium:

Coming from the bridge is an (as of yet not very decorated) command room lined with fleet rooms on both sides, followed by a portal room and a planet scanner flanking the door to the atrium. (I wish I could get rid of these corners that block the view of the rooms?)

First impression of the atrium (shopping mall). The doors along the sides contain cargo container rooms, trading station, refineries, exocraft, and some NPC stations. Above you, you can see frigates and sunlight. X-) Stairs go up to the second floor.

On the second floor, there are gardens along the two long sides of the atrium. Plus a nutrient processor room/galley, and two more cargo container rooms for plants/food, in the corners next to the stairs. In the middle opposite the stairs are barracks, with windows with a view down to the market/atrium.

In the atrium, coming down the stairs, looking back towards the exit: Here on the second floor (behind the blue circle) are the barracks. Unfortunately, posters do not stick to 95% of the walls?

On the way back to the bridge through the future command room, not much yet.

PS: I just realised I completely forgot that paint colours exist… The system I was in had 3 suns in RGB colours so everything seemed super colourful already

The render distance for the Corvette was a lot further than I was expecting

Oh that? That’s our overseer’s freighter. They always handbrake park like that. I’m sure they have a very good reason. They must very smart, after all, otherwise they wouldn’t be our overseer, right?

This was an interesting few days at my Autophage Settlement. They were spaced out between a few other builds and requests and I’m glad now that I’ve been taking screenshots of every settlement request.

A Relic Hunter arrived, still a relatively new settlement with half the population cap met, always happy to welcome a new citizen.

Then a stranger arrived a couple of days later in search of our beloved new Relic Hunter

Well this bad news came with some fantastic news and a bit of a revelation, certainly for this Traveller anyway.

At first I was going to decline because I thought the sum of units was measly. Then I realised they were offering QuickSilver as a bounty.

I handed the Relic Hunter over immediately. No QSuestions asked.

This was my first time getting QS as a settlement decision reward. Has anyone else seen something like this? A nice new settlement feature, thanks Beacon :bacon:
