I love the tall luminous shrooms and inverted shrooms. That was a nice addition.

Met a religious nut handing out pamphlets about the end and spouting something about 17, took a photo for the memory

It’s always the one on the far right, right?

Definitely, it was always Cthulhu.
Even in this picture above He is on right, maybe not so far right, like you would think

After all, wasn’t it prophesied that when the stars aligned just the right way, Great Cthulhu would awaken and destroy [end] this wicked world?

I think that’s Azathoth you’re talking about. Cthulu is, and remains, the lesser evil

I understand and respect that everyone can have their own interpretation and opinion.
But according to my knowledge Aza-Thoth is a blind god who dreams the entire existence, many worlds and many realities.
And his blindness is that he is unaware of his dreaming. When he wakes up, whole existence will end.
Hmm, similarity to Atlas?

Cthulhu, on the other hand, is often considered a priest of Aza-Thoth, but why this is so is unknown to me.
However, His awakening in turn will end the rule of the Elder Gods, which will be equivalent to end of their creation, this world.

And these stories about how He is terribly evil (lesser or not) are imo propaganda of the Elder Gods, which currently rule this realm.
After all, victors write a HIStory.

Btw. Don’t You think is quite peculiar that one of Admins of ETARC have in their bio coordinates of location ( 49°51′S, 128°34′W) considered to be one of the locations where the city R’lyeh is placed, where the Great Old One, the dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.
Let’s call it Easter Egg

I’ve never managed to sort out which stuff Lovecraft actually wrote, and which stuff was added by others after he died. Delereth definitely made up a lot of it.

The forum originally started as part of an ARG by a company that excels at creating layers of intrique so everything was laden with Easter Eggs.
Later the site became the property of Hello Games so that particular admin account is now in the hands of HG & is a remnant of of that time. It is interesting that it has been left untouched all this time.

I mean, one of the admins was literally called OldGods…

There was once upon a time, a dance and slaughtering of a chicken ritual used to summon the Old Gods. :relieved: That was in ancient times. Now there is an well-worn tome gathering dust somewhere. I believe it got knocked over during the last ritual and we have no idea where it went…

Harvest Moon

Because of its proximity, this harvest moon will actually harvest your crops due its gravitational pull

Due to relative densities, it has a much greater attraction for dairy products than arable crops. Milk and cream migrate through the atmosphere in a kind of reverse rainfall. Due to vacuum conditions and low temperatures, it does not decay as such, but does experience enzymatic changes resulting in separation of protiens. This process has been going on for hundreds of thousands of years.

NASA will never admit it, but the Moon really is made of green cheese.
