When placing your new Ice Sculptures, it is important to remember one simple thing.
Light No Fire
This unsustainable planet shows signs of a former civilisation that may have once called it home. What appears to be a hand made canal cut with crude tools marks the landscape. Spreading far off into the horizon and leading to a large lake.
Perhaps it was used to ferry goods and passengers from neighbouring towns?
Will set camp at the basin of this volcanic valley and look for sites of archaeological interest.
I love those. Closest thing we have to rivers and unusual to find.
Still exploring this planet and it’s Archaeological POI’s.
Formiddable storms and Hazardous flora would be my primary threat so I chose to travel appropriately.
After wandering through the sandstorms, I dug my own crude channel. All the earth held was an empty chest, nothing for the intrepid traveller other than the splendor of waterlogged mould. Looks like the Gek Dominion took what was here long before We first heard the words of Telamon.
While not the primitive civilisation that built the canals, I took solace discovering others came before me in search of similar answers; even in the shadow of the First Spawn it was reaffirming.
That is more polite than what I would have greeted them with…
Also, that is one hell of a dense asteroid field. Not sure I’ve ever seen one quite like it…
The asteroid fields seem to vary from system to system. They also vary depending on what you are running the game on. Switch is the worst. Very hard to get a decent asteroid field to generate.
Saw this on a post (not sure if photo is from original poster or not) and had to share it here
Someone did the Atari logo :3
