this is the image Ekimo found, not sure on the details as to where and how, they were looking in to the corrupted skyscraper image so it might have something to do with that.
As for the reddit post being flagged by a bot, it’s possible it auto detected suspicious edits to the image and just shut the gate on the user. Doesn’t mean they were nefarious edits but it probably cannot discern between trojan attempts and just silly fun ARG images.
If this blows up, we are SO back baby! I dunno if I’m ready for our quiet little corner of the NMS universe to get very loud again though 
@William I saw your little reddit post, hello world, I was wondering which of us was gui gui in the Event system the other day. Now I know, or already knew but forgot 
I’m still almost certain this is a fan made thing. What has me thinking this way is, projectskyscraper seems a bit uninspired, as does the reddit user with the same name that is also banned. Unless that is part of the rug pull, that we wouldn’t notice it at first because of course a fan would choose that name, which would throw us off the scent of thinking its anything bigger immediately.

Tr4ce? Interesting… One of the many “Connection detected. Access denied” entries has a 1 instead of an i at one point. Really stands out and seems intentional.

Something else I just noticed, if you change the zoom of your browser, the weird data point line grid thing on the homepage also changes its shape as you zoom further in or out. Probably just the way the graphic is set to propogate and maybe not indicative of anything but still kinda neat.
(ctrl+scroll mousewheel is browser zoom shortcut)

Yeah it seems posting that image got them instabanned by bots. My thinking is, since the image is corrupted and contains some sort of hidden message like most ARGs do, it might have just been autoflagged by a bot that can’t discern between a malicious trojan image or a wholesome ARG image.

I wonder how many other places they tried like Reddit. At least here, they can contact HG and explain and yes, HG could relist them.
Old God’s has been silent but we have not tried the whole chicken sacrifice ritual thing. It worked back when.
