The Panopticon?
Echo: « They can see the tower… but not the one inside
That’s my self-hosted site where I keep my old NMS streams I pulled from my youtube channel. I use an application called Fireshare. I deployed the docker container in a VM. Its easy to set up, provided you have a server you can use.

You can read about fireshare here:
Ah so it is, my mistake. I thought Melobytes was an audio sharing site

Wallace Stevens was 33 in 1912 (shadowcheck-1912). Could it be the 33 to the 1-1-2- sequence? (He was also married that year)
Oh wow, I get swarmed by work and come back to a potential ARG!
There’s a lot of reading to do (and now I’ve thankfully got the time), but it was kinda funny to see that the site’s sitemap is public facing. Anyone remember if WT did the same at any point?
Anywho, I know what I’m doing for the rest of the day ![]()
EDIT: I saw it pointed out that Skyscraper was No Man’s Sky’s original codename, but this is a bit of a misconception driven by the way Sean phrased the sentence I believe. Skyscraper is actually the name of Hello Games’ proprietary engine as revealed by the leaked debug build from a few years back, which also appears to be used for Light No Fire. Might be relevant with SGF coming up soon, if this is official in the first place?
EDIT 2: This might be entirely coincidental, but a lot of pre-release era pages on the NMS website’s sitemap appear to have been updated on the 18th, which is when a bulk of the pages on project skyscraper’s sitemap were also last modified:
Hello there, just joined from Reddit! I inspected the code of a website, and there’s this section:

I wonder what it is for? I’m not good at all at reading this sort of stuff. It seems like that some of these are the effects that were applied to source images to get those that we can see on the website? I’m not sure about this, it’s just the assumption. But if so, can we reverse engineere these images?
Welcome to the forum @EchoUndead and @PRXTXTYPE
Thank you!
Will be keeping an eye on any updates
Good idea. Who is the jailer, and who the prisoner?
Incidetally, Jeremy Benthams body was mummified, and now sits in a glass case in the foyer of University College London.
It looks like the graphics settings (not the pictures, but how they will be diplayed) for various stages in the game’s reveal.
There’s a countown going on, as something central to the story approaches consciousness. These appear to be the graphics settings for the stages of that countdown.
I thought it was code for the hexagon glitching that links to main page
Ah, yes. It’s probably what it is then, because very next lines mention logo, which is that hexagon. Sorry for confusion, thought I was onto something ![]()
Edit: I wonder, why they decided to write /* === M3MORY === */ and /* DR1FT1NG */ inside the code, though. It looks heavily stylized and intentional. From what I understand, it’s how you make a comment in HTML? Why would they want to comment it out in such way? I don’t think it’s any important, though, just a curious little detail ![]()
Couldn’t find a mention of this reading up, but since the filename for @the_architect’s banner appears to be `C0nnect1ng_d0ts.jpg`, I wonder if those should be added to the leetcode numbers list?
During Waaking Titan, this group was used as the primary means of information sharing. Lots of other web resources were involved, but this was the central store and discussion hub.
Project Skyscraper has no such arrangement with this group, and I have been wondering how the ARG creators intend to communicate and co-ordinate.
In the light of recent discoveries, it seems to me the most likely route would be the X (Twitter) and Bluesky accounts.
Unfortunately, I don’t have either at the moment. I’ll have to sign up for a Bluesky account.
The last time I tried to use Twitch was during Waking Titan, when it would regularly crash my computer - so I gave up, and haven’t used it since. Looks like I’ll have to try again.
I’d say that The Architect monitoring the forums is a pretty good indicator that they might be intending to use the forums as interactivity. The last post seems to be a direct result of us investigating the website, so this thread might be the closest thing we have to an input before any proper puzzles are implemented?
they might be intending to use the forums as interactivity.
Possible, but until yesterday, we were pretty much the only contact with the World that they had. We were the only people who had taken an interest in them - so all the activity was here, and they have an account here - so naturally, they’ve been watching.
But yesterday some Reddit users caught on to what was happening, and a certain amount of news has spread there. I don’t know if anyone else is aware - the Steam NMS community seems oblivious. There are lots of NMS groups I have no contact with, so I’m unaware what’s happening in most of them.
My point is, until yesterday, we were the only game in town. Now there are choices - and there will be more.
(edit) I just noticed that in the last hour, Steam user Cattivision has posted links to this thread, and to Reddit. So at least they know about it. Expect more visitors.
While skyscraper is the name of the engine, project skyscraper was the term used by the guys when they first started hello games. They would often say that theyd make something small first, like a nice small swedish house, but then they would eventually one day make their skyscraper.
Thats why no mans sky engine was named this. As the team were working on Joe Danger 2, their second swedish house, sean was working privately on their skyscraper, he couldnt wait any longer.
You will find him repeat this analogy several times in early interviews, magazine articles and online interviews. Most notably some of the very early interviews with IGN. Sometimes he refers to it as making their skyscraper and other times he says project skyscraper.
I dont think its a common misonception.
The code posted above is for the glitching hexagon but dr1ft1ng and m3m0ry seem to be important, they were found not too long ago.
Its a long thread now, very east to overlook whats been covered/uncovered.
Id love to make a summary of everything thats been touched on so far to save people time but I am a very lazy boy ![]()
Only one more hour to go before I can start liking posts again ![]()
Id love to make a summary of everything thats been touched on so far
Trouble is, at this point, it’s still developing. Stuff on the website is changing - some of the files are changing. Any summary you make now will be obsolete in a couple of days.
I think its important to note those changes in an ever changing summary
but it too would be buried under 20 new posts and be seen by nobody ![]()
