Anyone recall the Myriad logo from Waking Titan that looked like this:

Myriad in Waking Titan was a data storage company for A.I wasn’t it?
The red dots reminded me of the red dots we see on the live connections page.
I wonder if it will eventually form something like the Myriad Logo. Anyway I typed in Myriad on the project skyscraper site and got the message ‘Memory Restoration in Progress’. I think we’ve seen that same message before?

Nine Years ago on this day, or yesterday depending on your timezone, this was the first whisper we heard of Waking Titan

A little over a week later, the mystery began and participants were led to a Comm Ball hidden in the NMS universe. This was before Portals and when NMS only had Asynchronous Multiplayer, so people had to take the long way around to get there.

This Comm Ball was what confirmed it’s connection to NMS. It was also around this time, ETARC (This wonderful forum) became a part of the overall mystery, and we all got to meet our wonderful guide, @Emily

It was a week of lurking before I joined but… Since it is that time of year, I just wanted to say…

Happy Birthday Waking Titan!

So glad to see so many of you here again for some very nostalgic shenanigans. I look forward to seeing what waits for us at the other side of this, fan or official, makes no difference.

But most of all, I look forward to making that Journey with all of you, it’s been one hell of a ride so far <3

(Etarc’s birthday was technically May 20th when the first profiles were created, or the 22nd when the first posts were created, to give the illusion that it existed before the ARG started. But if we want to be realistic, it truly begins on June 7th when the community was directed there after unlocking a link on the Waking Titan website)

Requests For Site Changes / Hello Games Contact

TL/DR: We do not support requests to contact Hello Games, or for structural changes to this site.

At the end of Waking Titan, a group of us petitioned Hello Games to keep this site running. They said they did not have the resources to run a discussion group. Eventually they agreed to take over site ownership – on the understanding that we would run it ourselves.

Whilst Hello Games own this site, they play no part in its day-to-day functions. Such administration and moderation as the site requires is performed by the Leaders. That was the deal – Hello Games let us stay here, as long as we don’t bother them.

Of course, there are occasions when top-level administrative intervention is necessary, but we try to keep such requests to an absolute minimum.

The arrival of Project Skyscraper has led to expansion of the site’s functions, and requests for more. We have considered the situation, and concluded that if we agree with proposed changes, and if we can accommodate those changes within the site’s existing structure, we will do what we can to support them.

We will not, however, support ideas that require changes to the site structure, or intervention on the part of Hello Games. We are happy to create, move, edit, link and delete posts, threads and topics – but we will not support the installation of plugins, widgets, or extensions.
