1912 = Year of the Titanic
Because:
the page of the poem “Wallace Stevens” was backdated to:
2005-04-13
and April 13, 1912 is:
the day before the Titanic sank (April 14–15, 1912)
Then came the reading:
shadowcheck-1912
as:
“check before the catastrophe” or memory/consciousness awakening before the collapse.

The tag changing activated to cavitated is something to keep an eye on. The poem started with the same type of singular switching, no?
The reference GitHub repo has been updated with:
- a static site mirror (source, endpoints, mappings, stubs, diffs, post deltas, etc.)
- a py script (with ps wrapper) for locally running an update dump (and serving a local copy) + readme
- main readme cleaned up
Hopefully this will help to act as an endpoint for checking “has this file been seen before?” and allow easier reading, etc.
Any legitimate missing files in the mirror, let me know - as the script was trimmed down from a much larger private runner and I might have stripped stuff by accident.

The questionnaire at the start was reminiscent of the testing emails sent out at the end of a waking titan phase.
Hello world is synonymous with the game so its appearance here in game and the ARG can still be coincidental.
However, its been confirmed your choices dont dictate what team you are given. Some people chose same as mine and got different team. Others tried multiple saves and still got same team. Team might be tied to a serial number or mac address on your account or machine. Still not certain.
So if its not to decide wether you get sage, royal or weaver… what is it for? 
If its for the ARG and this is in fact official, this could lead to something interesting.
Purely speculative on my part.

Who was it that was calling for help in the questionnaire?
I think they were sent out by Dubois if I recall, to see what groups we’d end up in and what designation we’d get on the front of our Atlas Passes when sent out. I might be mixing up parts from two seasons here… I really should give myself a refresher course. But they had a cool multicoloured floral symbol.
Its important to remember that Waking Titan is not canonically connected to the no mans sky story, as is with most ARGs, they are just parallel narratives that share common themes and threads for a sort of dissonant sense of immersion.

I believe officially they were coming from the oldgods email now that I think about it.
