…The movement of the dots could suggest a region of connected planets but the movement also seems to echo how the Atlas menacingly pulses in the Atlas Station when we confront it. Maybe this will reveal some Atlas interaction? …

Definitely seems to be stabilising as a globe or at least the movement suggests so, much like the exterior of the Atlas.
