The bug continued to work indefinitely, but the poster said the planets in the system he kept getting warped to were identical in every galaxy after 256; making it seem as though the galaxies after that are just copies of each other with different names.
I found the post: https://redd.it/65spiy
You have to read it all to see where he eventually posted that he realized the galaxies were identical.
I will deffinately, however there are probably others in the same situation and my only concern is that I’ll have to leave this system to gather or grind for something to be able to open it…watch this space, I’ll try and do a YouTube video So anyone feel free to subscribe to my channel
Super creepy though that a Bugged universe has a veyr lovecraftian name People like to point out all the things in our own universe that proves it was designed by some omnipresent being, but you can do the same thing with NMS’s procedural generation going off coincidences liek that, but when it comes to NMS we can guarantee it is designed by god like men in guilford haha.
It’s definitely a bug anyway, considering how NMS generates its 18 quintillion planets, 256 makes perfect sense with regards to generating them all on a 64bit processor . Things like the negative galaxies and the bugged galaxies confuse me but the fact theyre buggy and/or identical makes sense.
If one takes the time to Google fu every name they come across, the procgen table begins to show just how amazing it really is. Words from every language, including the three in game, are mingled in the middle quite often. Some titles to locations are baked obviously, major minor plains hills ashes memories etc.
…DNA, brain, love, art …humor, pleasure …immense power, intelligence.
The Earth’s precise placement. Not too close, or far from the sun.
The axis tilt… Four Seasons. The moon’s magnetic pull… Ocean Tides.
Gravity, ozone, oxygen, air, water… The delicate balance of the ecosystems… Earth even resides in the ‘habitable zone’ of our galaxy; etc… The ‘coincidences’ certainly are plenty!
There are things beyond comprehension; Others that are not things.
