NMS Insight

No Mans Sky has had unusually high activity for this time of year.

Unification day weekend boasted higher player numbers than any expedition redux’s first weekend and this weekend is setting even higher numbers with saturday already ahead of last sundays peak.

Whats going on? Are we the cool kids now? Is it the luck of the new year landing so close to the weekend?

Either way I like this conversation more right now than looking at the world news. And maybe thats another reason for it. Collective Escapism :grimacing:

Id also been noticing a lot more posts on reddit these past few weeks of people saying theyre finally playing and loving it or back after nine years and blown away.

I think this run up to the 10th anniversary has the potential to be something special

It just dawned on me it’s also the first weekend of a redux. The Mass Effect one threw me, I forgot 2+2=5 expeditions in a redux now :stuck_out_tongue:

No Man’s Sky – Xeno Arena Update – Nintendo Switch 2 http://youtu.be/gomyg1Nt-lE?si… via

The mobile platforms like Switch 1 and 2, along with Steam Deck take a disproportionate amount of engineering time with every update we release. A bunch of us at Hello Games probably spend 2-3x more time to make these updates seamlessly work, exactly like the other consoles do along with PC/Mac etc.

It’s really a delight to constantly beat impossible memory constraints with a growing game to allow people to continue to experience and enjoy #NoManSky.
