NMS Insight

No Mans Sky has had unusually high activity for this time of year.

Unification day weekend boasted higher player numbers than any expedition redux’s first weekend and this weekend is setting even higher numbers with saturday already ahead of last sundays peak.

Whats going on? Are we the cool kids now? Is it the luck of the new year landing so close to the weekend?

Either way I like this conversation more right now than looking at the world news. And maybe thats another reason for it. Collective Escapism :grimacing:

Id also been noticing a lot more posts on reddit these past few weeks of people saying theyre finally playing and loving it or back after nine years and blown away.

I think this run up to the 10th anniversary has the potential to be something special

NMS is the world we wish we really lived in

It just dawned on me it’s also the first weekend of a redux. The Mass Effect one threw me, I forgot 2+2=5 expeditions in a redux now :stuck_out_tongue:

No Man’s Sky – Xeno Arena Update – Nintendo Switch 2 http://youtu.be/gomyg1Nt-lE?si… via

The mobile platforms like Switch 1 and 2, along with Steam Deck take a disproportionate amount of engineering time with every update we release. A bunch of us at Hello Games probably spend 2-3x more time to make these updates seamlessly work, exactly like the other consoles do along with PC/Mac etc.

It’s really a delight to constantly beat impossible memory constraints with a growing game to allow people to continue to experience and enjoy #NoManSky.

For some reason I can no longer take screenshots of Twitter pages (if the embed fails or for those who don’t want to click a xitter link)…

everything else works (desktop, discord, atlas-65, reddit etc) except for that website…

Here’s a text dump

Hats off to composers Paul Weir and Paul Wolinski, and our very own Tom Quillfeldt for yesterday’s game music panel at MCM London x EGX, exploring the musical journey of

@NoMansSky :ringed_planet:

Want to learn more about the game’s ever-evolving soundtrack? Check out our masterclass with the composers: https://youtu.be/MJvFr_XKLzg

Hopefully they filmed it and upload the talk eventually <3

Damn, even Martin Griffiths was trying to help us out on this latest brick wall we hit on the ARG, wether he realised it or not :joy:

Even stranger, He deleted the post :eyes:

Probably because he freaked out a bunch of ARG players and was like “I am not dealing with this right now, I was just enjoying my nice buys… good lord they’ve drank too much wasp juice!”
