I realised while in the Wiki/civ-mines that I had been sharing small progress bits in Discord and not ferrying them over here yet.

I’ve been working on the custom wiki backend and frontend code, @ThatBomberBoi has been working on Discovery Data request API and data wrappers and @YourBasicMaths has been working on the iconography.

So far it can:

• Ingest markdown articles and convert to HTML for the build with shortcodes for a bunch of custom stuff like:
• Ingest custom Discovery Data wrapper ingest to auto-populate and auto build Star System pages.
• Ingest and 3D render base builds.
• Basic gallery support.
• UA → Glyph support with glyph rendering.
• Light but proper index search.
• Table of Contents support.
• Built in page editor.
• Colour and monochrome emoji support.
• Custom @ tagging.
• Responsive options for phones/tablets and low res.

Planning to integrate more discovery options such as flaura/fauna and descriptor + render support later for cataloguing the weird stuff that lives on our worlds (but focusing on core features first).
Also planning deep featured mapping etc. support for integration as well (auto building, rendering options, filtering options, etc.).

Some small teasers for what’s built for the wiki so far (some are a little out of date so might not match between each other).

Just letting you all know that MAIN FAM does not end with Project Skyscraper having come to a close. We consider it a shared continuation that resulted from the ARG. We do however encourage everyone to look beyond the Project Skyscraper category, as that is intended to eventually get archived. You’re all more than welcome to spread your wings and start new discussion topics. MAIN FAM has a place here with us, so do not hesitate to let yourself be heard, beyond the topics of origin.

It may take some time to get there, or one of us could give you a lift, but whenever you are able to - you are part of this community now, and it would be great if you could join us!

That would be a good thing to try with NoMansWalk, bringing it to MAIN FAM system and seeing if base building is possible through the twitch commands or maybe nudging billcrystals to make it so

When the transition comes, it will happen quickly and we leave it to members for the creation of new topics
Also, PSS will likely stay open for a while since we have a year to keep submitting memories. Not quite sure when it will be Archived.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share this with you all!

It’s my new MAIN FAM tattoo! Thank you @YourBasicMaths again (you’re going to get tired of me saying that one day I’m sure lol) for all the help with it and getting the design to what I envisioned!!!

Just wanted to say, this is one memory bloc that’s permanent now!
