I upgraded living ship (3x s rank upgrades per tech type) and Compared to my “over” upgraded fighter ( 6x s rank nanite purchased upgrades and all buildable upgrade) in the pics below.
Hopefully I can find more upgrades for the livingship to completely max it out.
