Hm. I think it is possible based on the reasoning that many times people make life much more complicated than it really is. We have this ability to imagine complexity where simplicity is. It therefore stands to reason that a simulated being could equally imagine such a complexity, and in doing so, find a way to break free from its simulation.
Gonna go and watch this for the millionth time I think!

My same thought. Considering that if we were in a simulation that would in turn mean that there IS a higher point of complexity, and our universe is built on top of that.
My answer consisted of something like this followed by “if you were able to comprehend and push towards that higher complexity it would be possible to run a simulation at that level. Or you could accidentally stumble on it.”
I can’t remember exactly what I put, but it was along those lines.

Sorry for the newbie question, but after subscribing at the Citizen Science division, I didn’t get any Survey mail…
Is it because all the people has been chosen already?
Pretty sad about it

Hmm, I’m not too sure about that, can anyone else confirm surveys are no longer being emailed?
Either way, I don’t think it will prevent you from taking part in Phase 2, hell you may even still get an atlas pass 4, I dont think thats tied to the survey, I cant even imagine 10,000 people took that survey

Strangely. I received a copy of Scientific American titled. “A Matter of TIME. It Begins, it ends, it’s real, it’s an Illusion. It’s the ultimate paradox.”
I received it on June 19th and later that same day I by chance looked up new stuff on no mans sky and became involved with the Waking Titan ARG.
The Magazine is a Limited Run Special Edition from December 22nd 2014.
I have no idea where it came from as there is no return address and no send to Stickers on it.
It’s weird because this entire magazine has everything to do with this entire ARG.
This came in my mailbox. Which confuses me why a pristine copy of a 2014 Limited Edition would be delivered in my Mailbox when I don’t even get much mail to begin with and I have no subscriptions to anything.
Trips me out man.
