On phone but there’s some writing in the background of that piece of paper.
Iron was removed from No Man’s Sky in the Next update. It didn’t disappear entirely. In that same update, it left behind the the Ancient Key, an aged piece of wrought iron, and an artifact that opens ancient locks holding treasures of our future-past. A trace was left to unlock what was hidden.
In Expedition 22, the swarm produces corrupted ichor from obliterated swarmer shells. Its description reads: “a syrupy metal that flows and pools” The molecule folds over itself sluggishly, endlessly. When presented to the Atlas, the player says it smells of honey and iron.
The Atomium stands in Brussels. Nine steel spheres representing an iron crystal unit cell, magnified 165 billion times. A molecular structure made monumental. Iron made into a tower. Each sphere connected to the others by tubes, a lattice of atoms frozen in steel above the city.
Iron removed. Iron persisting as a key. Iron flowing from the swarm. Iron crystallized into a landmark above Brussels.
We, of glass, peer through. How could we be of anything else?
Can you please provide just the image for a larger view. I still cannot get the password to work
Edit: @gali on Discord translated the hidden text on the postcard:
“I have the feeling that I am in the future for a moment. It is very high here and the view is spectacular, but I am also very happy that I can be here. I am sending you this photo of the Atomium. You can hardly believe how big it is. Lots of love,”
Edit 2: Thanks to several people in the Discord,
It’s the homepage.
Does anyone else think the faint round outline on the card look like the thing we are building in the Expedition?..
Please note its a rough translation.
Thanks, I was making very slow progress typing that in to a a translation site. ![]()

Maybe it’s the back of the photo? in transparency?
Now, do we have the first part of a portal address or is the Star over Water highlighted for a reason? And we have just one “wedge” highlighted in red. Is it just mimicking WT or will we actually go someplace in game?
Possibly irrelevant, but the only Vandersanden VDS company I can find, are a brick making company. They’re Belgian, too.
I actually thought Polo’s Prismatic Core skeleton looks like the internal skeleton parts of the Boundary Failure structures.
Didn’t we have some glyphs in one of the pixilated images? I’m struggling to keep on top of everything.
Actually, I think it’s an optical illusion. The image is one of the upper (not middle) balls, and there’s the background reflected in it, but I think the “arch” is the outline of the ball. Interestingly, they seem to have a shape in the middle that looks no unlike the Atlas.
Barcode leads to a different postcard. It’s a shot of the Grand-Place Hotel De Ville in Brussels.
https://www.barcodelookup.com/5425012370999
Reference number on that card is B-244. The Atomium postcard clue reads B-16. The website on the Grand-Place postcard is not working.
I could see blurring it for legal reasons but it has obviously been sharpened and likely replaced.
We got an image of the real location in the same position~! Thank you to @YourBasicMaths for cleaning up the google maps image I sent <3
Different company
Different ref
The ref may be down to the different postcard, but the company looks deliberate, as they’ve gone to some effort to make the format match.
Looks like fullfeelingimages no longer exist.
Ah, maybe we need to send photos of the original card that matches that barcode?
@the_architect Perhaps you are thinking of this postcard?
