Archie mentions: ‘I had the distinct impression that I was talking to two different people.’, but doesn’t elaborate other than only suggest it could be both Emily and Arnaud.
He went on to say, ’ I believe I really was dealing with two different personalities. I think I spoke with both Emily and Arnaud. At least, that’s how I interpret those events today.’
Personality may be the important distinction in this case as the architect refers to Ghost as a He. So if it is not Arnaud who other ‘He’ could it be that knows Arnaud so intimately with details like use of school code.
