Ok im wondering what the plan is for naming the systems, as i see some different ideas about how to do it. My prime number currently comes up with,
" âŚIf you look out your window, you will see Kzzzt and KzZzt! " (im not linking their actual names until tower updates my prime with locations)
So does this mean the two locations i should receive are for those other two operators to go claim and name? or do i go to both systems to name and claim myself?
i have two neighbours, so 3 total systems between the 3 of us unless those other two have less or more neighbors? So if and when our primes receive locations, do we race to claim the locations or wait to see what system is for what operator for them to come and name themselves?
This is actually showing you Ekimoâs system. To see yours, you will have to type in Ekimoâs prime.
Itâs a weird and confusing way theyâve gone with people who have neighbours with anagram primes. Not sure why, maybe to encourage communication and cooperation between operators?
Which means that hell hole you found is actually @Ekimo1920 's?
what the crapâŚbut I have already claimed itâŚI was informed that my prime was upâŚno one explained this anywhere
I am filing a complaint with @the_architect
I think for those without neighbours it just gives you your system, itâs just a strange thing theyâve done with the people who have neighboured primes I think
I imagine if you were to suddenly gain a neighbour, the message would change to show a different system, their system. And then your system might move to their terminal message.
We could try science it but since the star system phase started I am not sure if anyone has been able to get a Prime allocated to them.
It caught a few people off guard early on too, I think @Rinha realised it last night after things had quietened down a bit
I would say it would be easy to find out because the sheet tracking them is public, but that got hidden yesterday in case the Reddit post about this phase brought griefers along who wanted to claim systems before the person attached to the prime could get their chance to
You could always message Ekimo I guess
I happen to know theirs actuallyâŚ
Ekimo, right? If you look out your window, you will see SheralMyst there: Mibosole [21990E350968]
well it is too late nowâŚthis really should have been stated clearly early onâŚI am not even gonna look. @Ekimo1920 can take the system and enjoy it but he may owe me something for suffering what should be his fate.
Well I guess since youâve been looking at their computer screen you must be in their backyard anyway
I decided to email system for clarification on the matter (I think some already have yesterday too)
Confused Neighbours
Hey System,
Everyone is enjoying their assigned Star Systems but those with neighbours, especially those with just a single neighbour, have been left confused.
They didnât realise that the star system next to their neighbours name, was the system that was assigned to their neighbour.
Most of us didnât realise this was the case until those with more than one neighbour entered their prime into Towers Terminal and got greeted by two hex addresses for systems, one next to each of their neighbours.
Some Operators have mistakenly claimed their neighbours system. Itâs led to a few chuckles and diplomatic handovers but Iâm wondering for those who may not know their neighbour or their neighbours prime, how will they go about finding their assigned Star System?
Are we teased about interstellar journeys, jumping from star to star like we do from planet to planet, with visible populated systems around, without going through galaxy map and warping there directly?
Has anyone figured out the purpose of the order that prime coordinates are assigned. I donât think itâs random as there are specific gaps.
For instance all of the primes around me(31) and @Mafi-143 (13) are assigned at this point, we have been from what it seems deliberately missed. But I could be wrong and just impatientâŚ.
