So both emails and memory blocs are being used?

My system was a phantom system too. You don’t need a save editor to get there, the service bot will do it for you.

System doesn’t have to know, I don’t think they even own a copy of NMS yet to find out your view is fraudulent

I didn’t send any pictures in my email, but I included a link to my ETARC post.

System apparently followed the link and chose an image they felt best represented my system. They may not have a voice (yet?), but they can watch us!

Second email:
Hello, System.

Looks like I’ve been sent on a bit of an expedition. Today, I’ve documented new data about Phantoms. It turns out, Uginooz was merely a decoy. It seems I have misplaced some of my screws and my circuits have been awry, eheu!

I calibrated my sensors and with some advanced teleportation technology I recovered from the Echoes, I was able to find the mysterious system of Ragange. This is the one that we could really see from our window, but it was hidden from view by Uginooz!

Eheu, but nothing can escape our deep scans, isn’t that true, System-friend? Take a look at the new data I scanned. Can you believe that structure is actually a type of fungus? The universe is full of wonders!

I expect you to choose your favorite scan to share with the MAIN FAM convergence.

P.S.
I guess I could have let system in the dark and not said it wasn’t the real system in my Window, but everything felt like an adventure of its own  . I chose to sent another email, I think the more pictures the merrier.

Ragange was actually a phantom system (it exists, but cannot be viewed or accessed from the galaxy map). Apparently, I am also not the only operator to have such a system assigned to them.

Yes. That seems to work, just an extra bit of work on the other end… :joy:

Explored the system given to me and was delighted to find a frozen planet. Already sent System an email about my findings.

True. And System already lied to us so this is payback time.

I visited my system quick [9829]. I got a Tropical Planet (with extreme storms), an Icebound Planet, and a Scorched Relic. The Scorched Relic is probably my favorite so far with these colors and crazy mountains.

In my opinion, you got a real nice system with those vistas! Wow. That first image’s gradient reminds me so much of ancient NMS.

A reminder to you, and all other newly-system’d Primes, to send these in to System to ensure they get added to our scrapbook

I tried to add a few comments to the postcards earlier and got the awaiting moderation message. How long should I wait to see if they will be added or did that message mean I need to try again? I don’t want to spam duplicate comments.

Here’s the email and pictures I’ve sent to System, hopefully they’ll help.

Hi System - I hope you are doing well.

I’m sharing some pictures of Toyo, a moon in the Ettiko-Deuc. This is the system I’ve been given by you through my Prime, and that my neighbours Rinh’a and CaptHarpo can see.

I did have some problems getting to my system, with travel through the portals taking me to many different places, due to an error - the portals could not properly resolve my glyphs.

I was eventually able to get to Ettiko-Deuc by quite a strange route! I was walking down a corridor in my Frieghter, the GSV Unpleasant Aftertaste, pondering the problems I was having getting to Ettiko-Deuc. I had started considering if it may even be a fabled “Shadow-System” that travellers have whispered about. It was during this thought that I tripped on a sleeping Vykeen (don’t ask) and noticed something very peculiar as I fell forward.

A set of luggage that I had lost at Charles De Gaulle Airport 6 years ago!

This extremely odd… Glitch… must have distracted me enough that I fell in a way such that I landed face down not on the floor of my ship, but on the rolling grasslands of Toyo!

I called my fleet immediately and then started looking around. Toyo is a Sporal world with rolling hills and flatlands of green grass and a clear blue sky, with the Planet Etonham X looming above.

Scattered around are odd, white objects that I have seen on a few other worlds. These forms look like white symmetrical eggs, with different markings and some even with flashing, blinking lights. The largest seem to be mushroom-shaped.

I do wonder if the White Spores are taking over the planet, removing the green plants, or if the spores are seeding the green plants? It is certainly a mystery.

I was delighted to find living mechanical lifeforms on Toyo - please see the pictures I’ve attached. There is quite the abundance of life, with the sound of clinking filling the air.

I’ll leave you at this, as there are 5 other worlds to explore in this Cadmium-rich system

It seems to be manually approved but once you get approved once, all your comments afterwards no longer require approval.

A few of us got approved in the first hour, but there haven’t been any users approved since then. Seems like Archie/PMs might be out for the evening.

My window is 9337.

The view is initially unfriendly. The air is toxic and the conflict perilous.

The planets are mostly flat and without immediate interest. I will look closer and more deeply.

Two planets offer refuge. One a respite from the weather and one from the others unwavering sentinels. I am not a builder but the warm weather and nice view will benefit a small camp.

This save is my first. It is clumsy and a patch-work. Perhaps my first assignment will begin with the autophage encampmnet I found on the systems hot planet. My multi tool is old and tired.

I shared my view with the System.
