The trip was fun. Hot. But fun.
Dodged some beautiful storms all the way home. Made it just ahead of them, exhausted, ready for a hot shower and my own bed.
As soon as I walked in the door, the weather alerts started. Now, I have no power.
Got the generator running. Plugged in a fan. Had the hot shower.
Exhausted.
Going to sleep now.
I knew I should have stayed one more night…

When did free speech become free to get away with whatever I want?
I wish my government would ban this and other soc media sites so we can have at least one week this summer where a refugee centre isn’t set on fire…

Well, last night I liked 
a post on X from a user in Brazil who was still able to post and read but could not see or post images…almost immediately, my X account froze…I was like uh-oh…and for about 20 minutes, there was no way for me to see any posts. X would not refresh and images from posts I could still see, were disappearing. It was a scary moment.
Then realizing this could happen to any of us at any time…I didn’t sleep well.
Thankfully, all is working well today but I have an uneasy feeling.

Been up since too early…helping an 84 year old woman who ordered a toilet with a bidet and then started getting emails from Fidelity Investments as to her package delivery…yeah…right…anyway, got those deleted and put her onto the legit package tracking emails.

Yeah, it’s getting worse and worse. Company got a fake bill for a change in the trade registry by actual mail a couple of days ago. The trade registry is obviously public, so apparently some people are just watching it for changes and sending out bills…

There was silly old me thinking the Steam Deck was a development coming out of the Steam OS and SteamBox research - which was prompted by Valves’ desire to bypass Microsoft’s stranglehold on the gaming market by using a modified Linux variant.
