Sean will most likely be tweeting out the first thread of his “so proud of this team” spiehl around the time birds start waking up and tweeting in your neck of the woods, so I would say you can take it easy and try put it out of your mind for now.

Worlds 2 could come with purple star systems plus a relation to Atlas and the crimson stain on the universe.
I expect a bit more water enhancements too, but really don’t need that for now.

What have the Atlas sentinels been looking for this whole time eh? Are they just enjoying the views as we spawn them into existence all around us travelers after we power on our gaming rigs? Maybe Atlas seen the Void mother and remembers more from before.

On the basis of previous expeditions / updates, I expect a locked download from Steam some time this morning, which I expect to unlock around 1.00 p.m. UK time.

Also do I win a medal? I guessed this would be an expedition similar to singularity that will have things that tease the next update but aren’t in game officially yet. These new creatures coming in through the void Sounds like getting Autophage body part rewards early to me

We got a shiny new section that lets us have a custom background… I miss my bespoke Calvin and Hobbes PS3 theme I made for the crossbar when I realised you could edit the files </3
There’s just no room to advertise all those games in the background to us if they let us have a fully customized dashboard I guess

While finding creatures in NMS and reading the descriptions after a scan about “soft teeth” has me thinking how good or bad it would feel like to put a finger or two inside their mouth holes.
Soft teeth don’t chew quickly like hard teeth does. Soft teeth mash and slowly dissolve what falls in.

So it looks like we might be getting a preview of some of the new underwater enemies we’ll be facing with the deep ocean update by fighting their spectral forms.
That or we had it wrong this whole time and the new jellyfish boss was never supposed to be an underwater fight at all
This feels absolutely like a spiritual successor to Singularity in what it’s doing.
