There should be a creature that looks like a plant but sits still for long periods of time and moves closer to the player character slowly when you arent looking. Such as those mushroom-headed creatures. I seen a dead one standing upright and thought it was just standing still till I tipped it over. (Lol. Had a good laugh)

Edit: or “hunts” by standing still and lunges itself towards its prey when it gets close enough to attack. That would be a hilarious jumpscare.
