That one is adorable!
This critterâs cuteness hides the scary story about a Traveller who drank the waterâŚ
Oh gosh, I just realized. Are these travellers that have undergone carcinization due to drinking the water?
I just assumed they had found oversized anomaly helmets, somewhere, but it makes more sense that their exosuit morphed to fit their new bodies.
Well i was more referencing the idea the Travellers drank the water and died and the crabs do what hermit crabs do and found the helmet and used it as a homeâŚbut now I am really creeped out.

@sheralmyst that floral hybrid has been telling lies, I see. Shame!

Reminds me of a fuzzy sea cucumber.
In fact when you discover something interesting you can go in your discoveries and put what you want into your personal wonder catalogue. There, the animal, plant, planet etc.. is described with itâs coordonates like this
unfortunately the limit is only 12
Iâd love to be able to add more (than 12) of the wonderfully weird flora and fauna (and even rocks) in No Manâs Sky.
Found this weird and cute aquatic buddy while exploring in Hilbert Dimension.
Doesnât it look a bit like EVE from Wall-E ?
Come on Sean, give us more slots! I find, like, 12 wonders a day, at leeeast.
And they are the only ones that can appear in wonder projectors, so if bases uses wonder projectors, they are also limited to 12, right?
(⌠Wait, what happens to an old wonder projector if I replace the featured wonder in the menu? Is the projector then empty, or does the projection stay until I revisit the base? I deleted the base in question (when I noticed it was only 12, I needed to reconsider the whole plan
) so I canât test it quickly myself. )
Or a whole discovery book where we can select our top highlights and their order, and when someone has An unusual request for help related to my Spec-Biology project, then we could actually find an answer in our ten years of notes⌠Whole planets and species have disappeared since thenâŚ
From my experience, regardless of if you replace the wonder yourself or if itâs wiped from your catalog because of a bug (happens to me a lot), the wonder projector remains unchanged !
I wouldnât know about changes introduced by updates, as I started playing during Remnant.
I agree, there should be much more slots. Like it would be so nice if we could buy them with Units or Nnites to expend on the âPersonal Wondresâ(or how is it called). And⌠thanks for linking my request for help, I guess?
On a semi-related note, a suggestion of mine is to make every category in the Wonderâs menu have a âslidingâ function (if this makes sense?), like the âmostâ of that category still shown first, but there would be a small arrow, on which if the player clicks, slides to the second âmostâ cerature of that category, the to the third, and so on until we reach the âleastâ creature/plant/mineral/whatever of that category, and maybe even a cute little counter there wich shows which âplacmentâ we see at the moment.
It is something to test. I donât know how it is coded. If the projector âaimâ an item in the wonder catalog or it keeps a sort of âitem_IDâ from the game. With the 2nd it would be possible to have 50 projectors with different wonder.
I would go for the latter, or for a 3rd possibility : Itâs tied to your (uploaded ?) discoveries. Given that I replaced some wonders and the projectors that wouldâve been affected stayed as is.
I like to understand so I tried. The limit is 10 projectors/base so I built 10, fill the first 5 with 5 different wonders. I then replaced these wonders in the catalogue by 5 other wonders, used them in the 5 last prjectors. There I deleted all I had in the catalogue and saved the game. After reloaded ![]()
Nothing in the hands
10 wonders in the base
So technically we should be able to have many more than 12 wonders into our bases. Of course that doesnât change the limit of 12 to keep a trace of the address. (test made with planet, fauna, flora, mineral).
