I am climbing onto the @toddumptious wagon. His last vid, he again pushed on the idea that we were being sent to live locations and as we know, that is not true. We have been directly told to not go to any locations. So apparently, he is not even following along. And he used it again to threaten HG into either acknowledging or denying the ARGā¦

You do realise that in publicising his videos, youāre doing exactly what he wants?
He will create controversy if he can. heās a content creator, and all they care about is the clicks. The more we complain about his activities, the more people we drive to watch his videos.

How do we know for sure that nobody is supposed to go to the real world locations found in clues?
If players are not going to real life locations to meet up and party together or search for clues, then this is not really an ARG imo. If the snowflakes are worried about melting, then donāt participate for those parts and ruin the possibility of live drops for everyone else. Are the reasons we are told to not go anywhere in real life really for safety reasons? or are you guys forming exclusive clubs to get the bag for yourselves? Would the puppet master have players meet somewhere in No Manās Sky instead, or does pc players have too many tools to ruin it for everyone else?
To me, it is not very fun to look for clues and solve puzzles if the only result is asking players to sign up for another social media account to go and post spam hashtags. I use 3 social media accounts, and this etarc site is one of them.

So far, nobody has been told to go anywhere. Nevertheless, people have tried. From personal experience, the back streets of London can be pretty dangerous places for a lone stranger at night. Some of the pubs even more so. As for the middle of the Arizona desertā¦
Commercial companies set up to stage ARGs have insurance for this sort of thing. Even so, they tend to be very careful in their selection of live drops - they donāt encourage people to go off doing their own thing God knows where.
We have no idea who The Architect is, or whether they have insurance - I suspect not. We at ETARC certainly donāt. Whilst you clearly feel that āsnowflakesā should just avoid risk, there are, unfortunately, hordes of lawyers who think differently.
So our advice is, and remains, do not travel to a game location unless specifically told to do so by the PM.
