In 2007 a friend had a spare ticket to 65DOS playing in Dublin. I didn’t take them up on the offer as I was unfamiliar with the band and when they returned and said they were amazing, I looked them up online and quickly fell in love with their music.
One of my biggest regrets to this day.
So happy they ended up making the OST for No Mans Sky and April 8th 2016 was a big milestone on that journey
Carrying on from my missed opportunities theme related to 65DOS

Missed Opportunities part two.
I pre-ordered the 65DOS NMS OST on April 8th, 2016.
Later, due to unforeseen sick days, I had to cancel some pre-order purchases to make rent that month. This was one of the things I had to let go.

I iz lurking & watching… & somewhat confused. ![]()
Is the clue regarding the ‘hive’ phrase or the phrase from the NMS update/release video that quotes the BladeRunner line?
Edit: nevermind… was quickly solved.
I decided to go a bit more obscure with my third and final entry. Relating to the first soundtrack 65DOS did before NMS (a re-scoring of the Silent Running movie plus a quote from the movie)

The second score made after they first tackled Silent Running.
There is no more beauty, and there’s no more imagination. And there are no frontiers left to conquer. Just sit down and shut up!
Oh woo!
I made one more just in case

Endless oceans on uncharted worlds. Red skies, dying suns. Secrets buried in the dust of a billion years. Every discovery is yours to make. Every world is yours to explore.
OMG who submitted “we will not retreat, this band is unstoppable!”
It’s from a 65DOS song but also from a movie called Singles, I used to love that movie.
Matt Dillon played the leader of a band called Citizen Dick, and eveyr member of his band was actually a member of Pearl Jam, one of my fave bands from the period <3
Laine Staley/Alice In Chains and Chris Cornell also feature in this movie <3 Just a big ol seattle grunge time capsule of a film.
Okay last entry, I promise…

The Unstoppable band was Citizen Dick, from the movie Singles. I absolutely adored this movie growing up, especially because Citizen Dick was basically Pearl Jam but fronted by Matt Dillon.
The synchronicity of my tastes and joys culminating into a sample used on a song by one of my favourite new bands, I just live for those things. It’s like something is guiding me.
Any clue who submitted the final title and value?
I just submitted this:
Forgot to capture though
there is a link to reddit

Not me. I just came in from working in the yard. I did not submit anything…
