April 13 2005 - Sunday Morning poem - new changes

" Priestesses of the gods, particularly of Demeter and Artemis, were often referred to as Melissae (meaning “bees”)."

In truth I think this discussion is going off on a tangent but it is quite difficult to ignore the coincidences.

Could be the just the letters that are misplaced, r,e,c as the key? Possibly beginning to spell recover(y/ed)?

Since the other letters are eyk, was my point.

possibly. I think we will begin to see the various sleep modes wake up. Likely in order as it ticks thru time

This did start happening after our last big clue the other day was about Keywords…

Out of hearts, and I tried to act real sparingly with them today, love all of this <3

All out here too. Not enough time between likes for them to replenish.

I like that. Very possible.

Between April 13th 2005 and May 24th 2026 is,

  • 666,230,400 ’ ish seconds
  • 11,103,840 ’ ish minutes
  • 185,064 hours
  • 7711 days
  • 1101 weeks and 4 days
    cause why not

I was reading up about Melissa after the bee emoji and wondering about connections, but it all seemed very loose and i couldn’t see anything coherent.

So I am sitting here staring at the May 17, 2026 entry that we do not currently have. It states recovery in progress. I am wondering if it will be added soon. And I have no idea how this page was found because the person posting it was silenced…

I don’t know if it’s a riddle, I’m new to ARGs. I have seen that there is a constellation called “Corvus” (black bird) and its myth is about lying and is directly related to Apollo and a lake (as in the photo) where he sends the raven.
The best time to see it is from March to June.

Hmmm interesting.
I haven’t seen this before. Another rabbit hole for me to dive into

Don’t worry about being new to ARGs. I’m rather hopeless at them but I do enjoy the ride while those cleverer than me solve bits a pieces.

I’ve noted your ‘very clever’ deductions. Are you mad @Mad-Hatter … no need to answer that one. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: If you ain’t clever then I am a single cell amoeba lol : D

I thought @the_poet musings were very well written. Some interesting brain storming suggestions. I don’t usually read so attentively but this ARG has really got me curious. Actually I read @the_poet’s stuff earlier today, catching up about the poem’s 23 words, in the main Project Skyscraper thread. The text is perhaps more appropriate here, but glad I read it in the other thread. I was pondering over the poem and its words all day. : D

I just remembered we can always hide very long stuff inside the Summary format, one of the tag options available to higlight text, in replying to posts, I think like this:

Summary

I was wondering if we should be checking on which words or letters changed and their order and stuff like that. I went as far this morning, as checking the first letters of the 12 words mentioned by @the_poet as ASCii converted to Hex. I was hoping somehow to find a Portal Address linked to the poem and imagined discovering a Tower or something at the other side lol. Um… I didn’t : )

I’m hopeless at puzzles like this to be honest but sometimes spot patterns to things. Like maybe in the UK show ‘Only Connect’ once a year lol. Though I am quite good at guessing the letters in the vowel showdown at the end of that programme, despite not knowing the actual answers lol.

The poem now mentions ‘Dark Birds’ . I used to know a navigator who often talked of ‘birds’ referring to the jet fighters he used to fly, which is quite common with military pilots. Perhaps the dark birds may refer to frigates or fleets gathering in the dark skies of space. Perhaps beckoning the arrival of something?

I have anwered prompts revealing Anomaly objects in the game, which mention something about a population or passengers, maybe refugees inside the Anomaly, a ‘hive’ on the move perhaps? ( I forget exactly what the text said) The Anomaly was a bit like a space station. Now I come to think of it the door I think on it was like a hexagon shape or a bee hive like shape…

Hi all,

I’ve been reading a lot over the past week, and with the changes to today’s poem, I’ve been scratching my head a lot. However, I think I have an interpretation I’d like to share.

Essentially, the modified poem is encrypted, and Wallace Steven’s poetry is the key. Stevens associated months, colours, light and dark with different states of mind.

We’ve seen a poem about blue birds and blue skies, turn into a poem about dark birds and night skies.

For the symbolism:

  • Blue represents the imagination, or creativity
  • Dark birds and night sky, represent something negative
  • Unseen/invisible means they’re the realm of imagination, perception, or subjective truth (dark thoughts, fears?)
  • April represents nature/reality
  • June represents memory/desire - I think the third line is saying those negative feelings will be forgotten in happier times
  • Ticking and time represent change, progression and the natural order, erasure of history

After the poem was posted, there were 3 retweets about games. I believe I can tie these in:

  • In Tearaway Thomas, the Tearaways had seeds of doubt and fear planted into their minds.
  • Future Unfolding is a dreamlike experience,
  • In Heavy Rain, one of the characters has nightmares and blackouts.

My conclusion is that the Skyscraper system is trapped in a nightmare, which is distorting its memories. This is why we see glitched and distorted images.

Le Forgeron, I believe, may represent part of the system which has been repurposed (a theme in Camacho’s scupltures - he also does not feel bound to represent reality).

As for the date:

  • 13 is a portentious number, associated with bad luck
  • April I mentioned above
  • 2005 was over 20 years ago, 20 was a symbolic number to Stevens (and one more for luck?).

I might be wrong in my interpretation, but I hope this might at least give another perspective on the puzzle!

I saw this change like an hour ago when I was still reading the posts from may 19th, but I had to keep searching to see if anyone else had noticed it. A couple hours later and here we are. I’d also like to note, I think your post might be the 2nd change. The first change had the same content, just in a slightly different font? Either that, or I activated some setting somewhere where it changed the page for that tab only (I opened one a couple hours ago, and another about 30 mins ago just to make sure things hadn’t changed again and they had).

This first picture is the first change I noticed. The font is closer together, less extra spacing, etc.

This second picture matches the one from the quoted post, and showed up a bit later.

(((I had to remove this second picture cause I’m a new user, etc etc. understandable. it looked very much like my first picture, but it has the same text formatting as the quoted post instead)))

I doubt it’s an important change, but I figure with this kinda stuff, every little detail helps. I won’t be figuring out anything cool like y’all.
Does the number 3 1 0 7 mean anything? (aer is misspelled and is the 3rd word of the first line, thye is the first word of the second line, zero misspellings in the 3rd line, tikc is the 7th word of the 4th line).
Or, and this is a stretch, 31-07 could be the 31st of July. And since the poem says april, skips may, says june, and has another line that could be talking about july just from following the sequence. And that 4th line is talking about time ticking by telling us this whole things is a warning about something coming soon™

ps thanks for listening to my ranting and raving. i’ve never taken part in an ARG before, but y’all have been amazing to read through over the last few hours of what has been accomplished in just a couple weeks. congrats so far and I can’t wait to see where this all leads!

made a second post to get my 2nd picture so you can compare the two directly. a very minor change, but a change.
