I know this is from apr 29th, but it was part of IGN’s big series on NMS with new video releases happening every few days during that period, and it’s one of my favourite Sean Murray interviews where he talks at length about his life and career history, at his most candid, so I decided to send the link in for Apr 20th, in case it helps anchor the memory somewhat. Future Backwards and all that

Suggested by @MounTheRainbow so I sent one in in the hopes we can anchor another 65DOS membloc entry

memory bloc 1477353600: I want to understand.

Value: How big is the Universe?

There absolutely was a moment where I felt I might be left behind. I am by no means a speed runner, and what drew me to no mans sky was the sheer expanse of discovery to be had. So when new features started to arrive, but I had yet to even leave my first system, I worried for what I might miss out on. But that’s the beauty of a game like NMS. You never feel rushed to unlocking the next milestone or researching the next construction module. You play in your own pace, taking all the time you want to enjoy each new discovery. I could see myself playing this for another 10 years and still not be “100%”. And I love that.
