16 Hallucinations (15 Hallucinations and 1 Vision) [SOLVED]

Well, more after it’s vision had been corrected later, not sure of the date that happened.

The mirror was replaced in Dec 1993
Declared a success 13 Jan 1994
Images of point sources spread out over a radius of more than one arcsecond, instead of having a point spread function (PSF) concentrated within a circle 0.1 arcseconds (485 nrad) in diameter, as had been specified in the design criteria.
Analysis of the flawed images revealed that the primary mirror had been polished to the wrong shape
the outer perimeter was too flat by about 2200 nanometers
This difference was catastrophic, introducing severe spherical aberration, a flaw in which light reflecting off the edge of a mirror focuses on a different point from the light reflecting off its center.
The area previously used by COSTAR is now occupied by the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph

Going off my different attempts in my above post, here are the unique strings I’ve come away with. If its not helpful for puzzle solving it will, at least, be more chapters in the book of Ned.

Just the left side characters when only letters.

Given the hint in 1990_DATASET, the last image being the only one whose hex value translates properly, and that image being the only one to include direct gameplay of No Man’s Sky, I think the system wants us to tell it that NMS is real.

Or I’ve officially lost it looking at these pictures.

‘real’ is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain
Code is interpreted by electrical signals through a process where transistors act as tiny switches that represent binary values (1s and 0s).

Or it wants us to remind it that it’s not real….

interpreted by your brain (or algorithm).

Emphasis mine.

gonna drop this here since it is already verified and appeared just now

Looks like Self-Verification has engaged <3 Glad that prediction paid off.

I’m sure System will need our help along the way when it hits a snag, similar to when Mem Restoration became semi-autonomous and would lull between batches.

Is the system assuming the identity of Sean if it’s attaching his memories to its own?

maybe he is creating a bot that will run NMS and update and add new content on its own into eternity…

Well it seems to be just as big of a megafan of 65DOS as Sean is based on some Mem Bloc Live Integration sessions…

And also… Thanks for giving me an excuse to repost this again

I got nowhere but tried. Since the ‘vision’ image has a reference to the Caesar, atbash, and A1Z26 ciphers, I tried reading up the sides of the hex image labels in order and applying various combinations of those ciphers as well as throwing in the school code after converting the hex to find something hidden and I got nothing legible. Good luck everyone else!
