The generic icon is likely Windows Store. I have already encountered people with the icon in 3xperimental. For some reason, they did not want to answer my question when I asked if they were on Windows…
The Nexus is key. You can easily ask them to join you. You also have a NMS Friend Code you can give to others

I think no bobbles are on the left because that is where Traders etc… appear when you communicate with them. But yeah, it would be nice to have one on the left. Would also be nice if the Atlas could hang like fuzzy dice.
Oh and still not open on PC…need 1% more.

Actually, someone told me the bobbles are on the left in some fighters. So it seems to depend on the type of ship, but you still can’t have two visible regardless.

Good to know! I still wish I could hang the Atlas bobble. :sunglasses:
EDIT and now that I have placed bobbles in my other ships, it seems many of them install the bobbles on the left. In fact, some install on the far left.

So, since it’s for Steam, does that mean PS4 is not getting the improvements to VR like seeing our body?

It’s not “for steam”, it’s developed by the same company and steam is using it. That’s a big difference.
As for PS4, no idea to be honest. I would expect PSVR to provide its own interface, but it’s well possible that there’s an OpenVR wrapper for it to ease multi-platform development.

In any case, the PS4 gets the new features, but certainly none of the performance gains that the new OpenVR version entails. But then we can expect PSVR to be pretty much the most efficient out there, simply because a hardware lock-in makes performant software so much easier to write (same reasons why Macs usually have a performance advantage over PCs at comparable specs).
