Because why not post it here, even though it’s a stream from a fellow Citizen Scientist? Everybody should see how happy they were when they discovered the 10th glyph passcode. lol ![]()
For anyone who wants to catch up on WT season 2 so far! A clear recap video explaining it all set to some wonderful gameplay and including facecam ![]()
“NoMansSky Atmospheres” is a new series I’m doing; a calm walk-about on planets and moons showcasing their beauty and ambient atmospheres. Here is the first. Enjoy. ![]()
@kyle-culver Edited your link as it did not like a Twitter shortened url.
Oh very strange… I guess I’m just too fast on the copy+paste for my clipboard… lol. Much appreciated.
I discovered two things recently:
- You maintain momentum in water even at high speeds
- Giant pink spiky flora exist in vanilla!
Nice work with the Atmospheres man! You have some good camera moves in there and you really captured some great scenes. I especially enjoyed the camera move between 4:20 and 4:35, good stuff. The underwater scenery is really cool too.
Are you planning to make more videos following WT ?
Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying them so far. I will most definitely be making more after WT. That’s one series I will do as long as I can play NMS. ![]()
My original goal was to upload an Atmosphere episode every week, but didn’t want to actually say that. There’s absolutely no guarantee I can achieve such a schedule, haha, but I can try.
Yup, you can even regain speed in water if you rise out with yr jetpack, fall in and then arc back up at a smooth rate (sudden change in direction will bring you to a halt) and out again with the jet pack, fall back etc, do it enough times (basically like you are a dolphin) and you can gain crazy momentum, i even got fall damage from flinging myself into a cliff face using this method ![]()
Actrually fell asleep to this last night , good job!
I never knew that, I imagine it’s pretty difficult to pull off going up and dunking back down at an even rate?

It can be at first, or it’s near impossible in shallow water, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature just like the jetpack-melee boost.
This is a playlist of all my most amazing finds so far in 1.3
