I do wish the discoveries image had as good a look as the in-game one. Sigh. I may submit feedback.

I don’t really know. There was a very thick storm but I saw landing rings so I tried for it. Exited the ship and wound up standing on the ledge above it.
I haven’t seen this plant species for a long time. I have one picture of them from Feb 2017, and have never run into them since.
Back then they were invisible until you hit them with a mining beam. I don’t remember why I was shooting up at this time, but you would have to hit each one for them to show up. They yielded radon.
