I fired up my Legacy Save for the first time in months & this was parked in my freighter hanger.
Its a creamy-white & yellow Radiant Pillar BC1 that I have never seen before. I haven’t even been to Mr Quicksilver to redeem expedition goodies or anything.
Is it something to do with ‘instance16’ or something? Anyway, I archived it, as is & will look into it later on.

Recently while ‘surfing’ the Galactic Map, looking for a particular system, I came across this interesting formation, deep down in the Alpha Quadrant. Although it is not that easy to pick from a static image, it is a sort of ring of very close yellow stars perched on a double helix starchain. Looks a bit like one of those lamp/magnifiers a model maker uses. Nothing particularly special & regulars here know I tend to hunt for unique star formations but I thought I’d share it anyway.

Something close to this was mentioned in a recent patch note (but doesn’t explain your legacy save visitation). Apparently the bug allowing them to appear in expedition freighters got loose in the main game.

Also on the same system i found a trading post with just one gek in it, no people, no ships. Felt like an empty bus stop at 3 am.

Planets with the Infested (Infected) sub-biome or Abandoned systems will not have NPCs, while the Holo Arena table comes with an NPC regardless I guess. This does make it quite odd, and the Gek must be happy to see you!

So creepy. Nobody on the planet and when you arrive at a trading post there is only 1 person who tell you “Hey… You wanna play ?”

This planet had frenzied sentinels and extreme storms but it constantly looked like I was walking through some sort of phantasmagorical painting with eldritch overtones and I could not get enough.

Now that discoveries are working again, ive been taking my time and spending it fully exploring a planet each day.

Aw, thanks. I thought if the offer ever came up I’d run away and hide. And maybe a year ago I would have, but after all the ARG madness this year and dipping my toes into some discord communities, I feel up to the task.
Also feels like my discord detox has done its job, time to boot it back up and join the MAIN FAM discord at long last (was somewhat burnt out after all those month’s glued to the ARG)
