The Corvette interfered with the Z menu, so I walked further away to get the deep space base computer. I placed it and then I got stuck in the computer’s E menu. So I quit NMS. When I returned, it saved the computer, good, but the corvette has left without me
NO! The asteroid landing attempt (plus crash) stole all my asteroid geodes! When I returned, I thought, I saw some pink stars drop. But they disappeared. And now that I recall the Corvette, my tractor beam storage is empty. Sniff.
Teleporting your corvette unfortunately doesn’t bring its cargo with it. Learned this the hard way when I was too lazy to float back to my ship and just summoned it around me.
Can confirm. Was sent to another system to collect ice; once I loaded in, I went flew to the station and teleported back home, to turn in the mission there. Nope, no cargo.
Sure, you can’t load up your colossus at the slag heap and then fly to a processing center and just summon all the trash for processing, but not being able to retain cargo in a corvette seems wrong.
