Has anyone else built a base on a glass planet/moon? I found this ‘glass moon’ recently, the only time I’ve seen an infected type planet/moon that didn’t have angry sentinels. The sentinels are ‘typical’ and not all that common. Of course this glass moon lacks fauna and only has a bit of flora (I had to raid my freighter material reserves of carbon actually to build what I have so far). The place is dry but the weather is moderate.
The view is spectacular, as the moon orbits a flourishing planet.

My Survival Mode base is on a crystal planet. Build the carbon planters in your base and you’ll never run out.

I had a base for some time on a ‘hex’ planet. It was mostly subterranean & never suffered the fill-in glitch of my other similar bases, (had to abandon my most recent one). For some reason I’ve never found a weird world with a portal near to a base. Always hours away.
