Oh great…I can’t wait for more drama…![]()
The tracking on my Gek is beyond ridiculous at this point
I’m thinking of calling and telling them to hold it so I can come pick it up
Is it a tiny parcel forgotten in the back of a truck, and every day the driver postpones driving your way, because his “travelling salesman” navigation algorithm recommends a different optimised path?
Is there any option/possibility for you to come to a larger city center and pick it up there? The delivery option that used to be called Poste Restante, and nowadays it’s often a selfservice thing with little doors that open to your PIN? (Aha, it’s called General Delivery in the US. Or use whatever the service offers, of course.)
If it is headed in the wrong direction today, I will call the post master at my local PO and see if she can head it in the right direction
Maybe the postal worker driving the van is an immigrant and doesn’t feel safe driving out to an area where they can corner them. Are ICE in Arkansas yet? ;-;
Not much ICE here. The police will arrest and hold for ICE if they break the law. That is seen as cooperating so there has been no need for T to send them here. I think there was a small band of them last summer in LR but it didn’t amount to anything. No arrests were made.
Gek is headed out again…waiting to see what direction…
Ummm
…
My Gek should be here today….![]()

I guess traveller-echoes were hard to source or come by, which is what took so long between the gek and the traveller.
It broke up the gap between plush arrival day and when the vinyl record is expected to ship at least. ![]()
How come you always gets yours first?

Theyre very efficient up there in that part of the northern hemisphere. Ive only been twice but i still get public transport/bike lane envy.
Hey. We have bike lanes in a few places. They are creating a new one that runs about 30 miles and takes you into Hot Springs.
Do people spend every day giving out about how it disrupts motorists, is too expensive and that nobody uses bicycles and those who should, should buy a car like normal people? Cos if so, we have that in common ![]()
Those people couldnt find bias in the dictionary if you threw it at them ![]()
More like, only gay men ride bikes…
…but I think for the most part, people are generally respectful and appreciate the fact they have a dedicated space to ride in. There are bicycle marathons that come thru Arkansas so cyclist are a common sight in the warmer weather
