Oooh, very nice, It came out really well for a model with a lot of straps with things underneath them etc. My favourite part of 3d printing was figuring out the best orientation for the model to be printed and then inevitably fixing the bits I broke of when rescuing it from the supports.

From the comments I gather it uses a cheap round TFT screen from ali… and it shows a random word in random intervals from a list of known NMS dictionaries. I imagine connected to Arduino or similar.
This person appears to be on several makers websites with more details.

hope we do get another one this year or perhaps for LNF release. anywho.. since the ARG i’ve uppped my NMS fanboy merch collection. this last year i had my pal custom make a NMS stained glass piece. i call it “The Atlas of Glass”.

I actually recognise your pic with the jacket, I recall seeing it posted somewhere around that time we all got ours, was specifically searching for others who were in the cool jacket club 
I love the hanging glass atlas, also see you got your pre-order ship <3 Mine was cancelled by the supplier because they quote “no longer shipped products of this weight to Ireland”. Brexit laziness if you ask me, was coming from the UK, curse you 2016!!! Last time I order from GameUK 
I got the jacket, have the atlas pass v4 from WT participation, got some 3d prints off this guy on etsy of Nada and Polo, have a gek plushie and got the new NMS Journeys OST Vinyl.
A few of us here also got a bunch over the years, I’m sure they’ll be in to share them soon.

Hello all. I have a 10-year increment birthday coming up and my mom wants to get me something special. I’ve always wanted an authentic Atlas Pass v4, so I’m thinking of asking for that. Anyone know what a reasonable price for one would be, or a good place to find one? I know they aren’t common and they aren’t going to be cheap. This is something I would never spend this amount of money on myself, but I might be willing to have my mom buy for me and keep it forever and remember that she got it for me.
Edit: actually, the statue of the ship would be nice as well, if anyone has any leads. I bought the preorder collectors’ edition, but someone broke into my storage unit and stole it a few years ago.

I would love to help you out but I dont think I can pass with one for any price. Not even all the wealth of all the tech billionaires across the land.
Not sure on the availability of resellers but you might find someone here willing to part with it.
I wonder if people are also selling reproductions?

Atlas Pass would be tough, but who knows if you keep an eye out. Currently I only see one up for sale, including a limited edition PS4 boxset, on Ebay (likey the best spot to get lucky). I would however be very careful too, making sure the item and seller is legit, for as much as that is possible. Might turn out expensive, not sure, the current listing I refer to, asks $385.
You might be better off asking in NMS communities, in hopes someone is willing to part with one? Worth a shot perhaps.

Yeah, I see that one. It’s quite expensive, but with how many exist and how little people probably want to get rid of them, I’m not sure if that is an unreasonable ask.

I honestly don’t care if it’s useful for anything. I’ve got a Traveller staring down at me that will never do anything, but I smile a little when I see it.

Only you can be the judge of that. I know I likely overpaid for the iam8bit vinyl I got a year or so ago. Has been well worth it in my opinion, although likely more readily available and not quite as much.

There were thousands of them that never got delivered. Presumably stolen by the boxfull by people in the mailing companies.
Somebody, somewhere, ended up with huge numbers of them.
