I think this only applies to flora…not sure. But, it is happening a lot. Every time I go into photo mode, flora will vanish even if I do not move the camera. When I move the camera, it is even worse.
Notice the grass around the cave opening.

Recent patch notes mentioned a change to always display things in their highest LOD in photo mode. This could be a bug related to that change.
