Getting the restore screen before NMS fully starts

When I start up NMS in the morning, before I get this:

I sometimes get this:

I’ve only seen this second screen when I’m ingame and am restoring to a prior save. It started sporadically appearing several weeks ago. What’s it doing?

its just the loading progress graphic animation

so it is used when restoring/loading saved game and for initial game load.

On my pc i have always seen it until i get to game mode and then saved game selection screens.
