Ooh yeah, similar to a non-transparent wonder projector, or this round floor decoration where a happy gib blob hops in circles, that would be nice, a little alien zoo. I wonder why they haven’t done that yet, is that too taxing on performance in some way? (Game devs often want to reduce the number of moving physical things that have hit boxes.)

My pets are a mess. Half chosen for looks and speed, half trained for the arena: useless skills, some “elements” missing… (as in, I lack a toxic fighter, for example.) Having two of each “element” ready seems a good plan.

Is it the “helpful” trait that makes the pet sometimes heal/buff itself in the arena without my intervention? And does the “aggressive” trait have a real effect in the arena…?

One pet has a skill that usually kills itself but then buffs the team for x rounds. I could use that as heroic last move in the first round, but that opportunity never arose. :person_shrugging:

When they have useless skills that make the opponent stronger, do you straight up abandon them and look for a new one? Or are they like frigates with a chance of a new bonus cancelling out the malus?

Aggressive trait gives the creature a chance of using an attack ability between turns if I recall.

And negative aggressivenes = a chance of using a defence ability between turns.
Also scale of the creature, the smaller they are, adds to their agility and being able to dodge attacks.
