I adopted one of those geometric things.
Passed on these though
Flying mace face huggers? I would’ve gotten the hell outta there too.
This herd was moving together into that wooded area
Found and adopted this cute caustic critter while exploring the moons of a gas giant this morning.
…And speaking of said gas giant, I also learned today that if you cast your fishing rig just before being picked-up and carried away by a tornado, you can still catch a fish in midair whilst being violently flung around
I love that they don’t punish us if a storm knocks us out while a fish is reeled etc, it’s very respectful of the players time.
I never thought that this would apply to everything, including getting sucked up into the stratosphere
Aren’t we a cute little housie, hm, are we? He followed me home!
… … Wait. Are young houses small, and grow up to full size? … … Uh-oh. He’s sleeping under my bed… … (hurries back home)
cannot sweat, so it must pant like a dog.
Not cute, but talented.
I’m trying to dodge the shoot on sight sentinels long enough to get some basic scans, there’s a storm about to break, the planet is super rugged. I pause on the edge of a hillside that stretches a long way down, too steep to climb, to grab some scans…and this guy that absolutely towers over me catches me between his feet and dribbles me like a soccer ball down the hill.
I wonder how many shapes they come in?
soft teeth, sharp toenails
The long arms make these creature incredibly unsettling, in a sort of Junji Ito fashion.
Almost looks like it’s checking the ground for tracks and hunting someone, some thing or some me ;0;
But that’s silly, it doesn’t need to do that… It knows where you are at all times
Started a settlement on a Rainy Lush Titan planet.
This carnivore lurks in its perimeter and occasionally snacks on the odd settler or four. They give me free lifts if I distract them with food so they get to stay. Those two sentences may or may not be connected
I’ve decided to call em Ol’ Gil. Put in a good word for them, won’t you?
These cute little fungi bugs lurk in the waters off the nearby shore too

Should we add No Mans Sky to the list?
